fantastic location and vibe

we absolutely love Hotel Salzburg. you can feel it is family run throughout the service. everybody really cares for the guests wellbeing! the hotel has recently been renovated and is supwr modern whilst retaining its Austrian charme. The Spa facilities were superb and the food just fabulous. the view from the balcony just stunning and the beds really comfy. in winter the hotel is in the kiddle of a huge ski resor and means you only walk 2 min to the main gondolas.

Great choice of breakfast and dinner. Barbara the owner is a great hostess and the staff are all really friendly and go out of their way to help you. Lovely place to stay. Really close to main gondola, bars and restaurants.

Possibly a lounge seating area would be good for relaxing after skiing.

the room was really comfy. wonderful shower the bed was so comfy. nice and quiet. the atmosphere in the hotel was warm and friendly. the staff couldn’t be more helpful. the location is central. right by the gondola abs the Main Street but lovely and quiet

I'm not sure about 4 stars in Austria, it was more like 3 for me, but it was really good. Room got right size, not too spacious but not too small, breakfast was nice, dinners better than expected. I was happy with fast WLAN/Wifi. Safe underground garage is a big plus when you got expensive bike. Also some bike facilities at place.

Balcony was shared with other rooms divided only by small gate wich can be opened by anyone. No AC, so it was a bit hot in summer, but at least windows were shaded by balconies above.

Friendly staff, washing service for bike clothing, facilities for cleaning mountainbike. Options offered for guided MTB tours.

Variety in daily menu was good, however quantities small and at 1 time included organ meat (liver).
