This hotel has a great location just across the river from the old town, it is easy to explore on foot from here. There is a good sized car park. rooms are well equipped and comfortable. We stayed in the lodge and enjoyed the balcony with river and garden views with entertaining lawn mower!

Nothing, although there is no restaurant in the hotel there are many good restaurants in walking distance

Beautifully decorated , immaculate and beautiful grounds. Breakfast was perfect and staff were exceptionally friendly .

I’d messaged property twice to tell them I wouldn’t arrive til 9pm. Fortunately I arrived as the staff member was lockiing everything up! Nothing open to get even a drink which after the very long drive I’d had was rather disappointing.

Hotel has a great location within an easy walk to Cognac center. Hennessy is right across the river from the hotel. Despite central location hotel is in a nice, peaceful garden.

Room in the main building needed some refresh because it was worn out.

Bed too small!

There was a great selection for breakfast. The room was spacious and comfortable and, crucially, quiet. The hotel is in an excellent location, it was easy to walk around Cognac from there. They had free parking, and nice pool that were took our baby swimming in. It’s also right next to the river which is beautiful.

The room was perhaps a little shabby but it was ok. Happy with it for the cost.

Everything! Beautiful river side location set in magnificent gardens and a few steps from a couple of very good local restaurants. Spotless, spacious and unique accommodation options available, great air con too which was much appreciated during 32C weather. Wonderful patient, helpful bi- lingual staff - great breakfast selection for a very reasonable price. Highly recommended.

The room was shabby. Our room with garden terrace turned out to be upstairs with a balcony and a spectacular view of the hotel bins. The headboard was scratched and peeling; there was an obvious area of damaged carpet in the middle of the room; mould in the bathroom shower; the sink didn’t drain. The decor was awful - like being put up in an eighties teenager’s bedroom; pine walls, black accent pieces, the walls adorned with cheap, black and white prints of Marilyn Monroe; black acrylic cushions with the word ‘Love’ embroidered on them. The King sized bed was clearly for a very small king. Just one coffee pod and two ‘breakfast’ tea bags per person; no milk. Simply nasty.

Excellent location and beautiful grounds. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Fantastic views across the river, good parking, and very easy to use a base to visit Cognac.

The bathroom door in the cabin didn't close properly, and the shower itself could be improved. On the whole we had a great stay in the cabin.
