I have been visiting Lake Tulloch for over 12 years and have stayed at many properties on each side of the lake. If you have a small family, this is a property to consider. For kids or teenagers, Kiva Cove is a great spot. You can swim from this unit right over to the Kiva dock where many kids hang out. The cove is also great for floating around and swimming off your own dock since this unit is deep into the 5 mile only zone. The unit is nicely decorated, and a large deck for enjoying the outside. Since it is smaller than many of the other places on the lake, it is budget friendly for a short getaway. Yes, the driveway is steep but there is flat parking right by the unit for ease of loading and unloading. Personally, I like the other side of the lake better only because it is closer to the grocery store. We tend to forget items! Overall, a nice place and the owners were super helpful and very responsive to my questions.

Truly enjoyed the home. Lovely sunsets. Had everything we needed. The community swim area was just across from the property dock. Property owner was very responsive to any and all questions. Although limited square footage the space felt very spacious. Would definitely recommend the home.

Helpful pointers- we were directed to access the Marina at drifters to launch our boat. We discovered They have no trailer parking also Drifters is closed Tuesday and Wednesday so if you’re planning on checking out on one of those days you could try and make arrangements with Joel at drifters. Checkin was easy. The steep driveway was very challenging making it very difficult to get our luggage and groceries/supplies to house. We ended up leaving some items in the car. Upon arrival some of the cookware was dirty. We prewashed everything we used and washed and stowed all our dishes as we were told to. I was a bit confused on the cleaning fee plus being required to clean before we left. I guess we would have cleaned up after ourselves anyway but I don’t see a reason to charge a cleaning fee and require guests to clean. There is a “flyer” on the refrigerator that gives instructions on how to access the boat launch close to the property but when I asked about it Thomas was very stern about his previous instructions on using Drifters and advising us that we would not be allowed to access the boat launch there at Kiva beach. A bit contradicting. The flyer may need to be removed from the refrigerator. We did have a boat slip to use during our stay. Don’t plan on getting in the water close to the boat slip the water is very murky.

My husband and I celebrated my bday! We passed through the city, Copperopolis and Lake Tulloch/reservoir last year traveling from Angels Camp where we own a time share. Lake Tulloch is absolutely beautiful even after California storms this year. Our stay was Sun-Thurs. The property was nice and clean. It is well stocked with cleaning supplies. Lots of cooking utensils and plenty of pots/pans. All amenities worked with no issues and the bed was comfortable. We were in and out a lot but took a day to rest. We brought our boat. There was no traffic whatsoever on the water. We may have seen 8 boats in total mostly fishermen and others enjoying the nice weather. The house comes with a boat slip. It was nice that we did not have to re-launch daily. The boat was docked at the slip during the period of our stay. We just walked down to the boat dock, got in and off we went. The main bridge is out due to damages from the storm. We asked around but there were no details on when the repairs will be made. With that said, we had to drive 50mins to the public campgrounds to initially launch the boat. Once it was in, it was a 15 min. boat ride to the lake house. I believe if the bridge was open, it would have decreased the travel time tremendously. The driveway is very steep to the condo. We parked up top and walked (very slowly) with our luggage and groceries down and up. We brought our wagon to help with the haul. Then there are 16 steps up to the condo. I counted every time I went up and down. Lol... We definitely got in your daily steps and a good cardio workout. It's nice that the condo is located on the top level. What a beautiful view! The condo complex consists of four units. One other resident was there. In and out probably for work. II'm glad this unit was available for booking. We enjoyed ourselves and we are definitely coming back to Lake Tulloch!

This was my first visit to Copperopolis and I definitely plan on returning. My friend and I really enjoyed our time here. The condo was so cozy and had everything we needed. My favorite feature was the covered deck. We spent about six hours straight out there relaxing. Great views of the lake and the beautiful surrounding houses. There were occasional boats that passed by and it was fun to see people enjoy themselves. The bedrooms were very comfortable and I really appreciated the window coverings. I'm a fan of dark rooms for sleeping but anyone could easily adjust the shades for more lighting if needed. The condo was very quiet and we appreciated being upstairs. We met the neighbor in another unit just by chance and he was really pleasant. It's nice to feel welcome when you're at a vacation rental. Also, the owners were very friendly and helpful when we were messaging. I would absolutely return if I ever get the chance.

Very well stocked condo. Exceptionally clean. Newer furniture and carpet. Comfortable beds. Excellent Weber gas grill. Quality towels, nicely decorated unit. Owner communication was impressive. The only thing we disliked was the slippery stepping stones leading up to the stairs which was dangerous. Otherwise, we would definitely recommend renting this condo!

I sent a couple of employees to the area for the week for a project we have nearby. I prefer to stay them in a vacation rental vs a hotel to avoid the drive and to give them a comfortable place to stay while out of town. This listing checks all the boxes. Our guys enjoyed it and you just cant beat the view from this property. Communication was great, everything went smoothly. Thank you!

Perfect location and the mornings eating breakfast on the deck looking out at the lake were great. We lost power for the day one day but we made it work. Seems to be common in the area and the property owner was quick to respond and worked with us

We had all the details we needed for this trip, plus some! The host was great and the dock was the perfect place for our kids to be kids! Our 6 year old even caught her first fish! Small fish, but still a fish. The cove was beautiful and it was refreshing to see all the boats and jetskis respecting the no-wake zone, making it a great place for floating, kayaking, and paddle boards. We really enjoyed our stay. Great location and super convenient to have the boat slip outback. The owners were very helpful and respond to messages very quickly. The house was great for my family of 6. We brought our boat with us and used one of the boat launches around the lake. The lake was nice and full. Great for and boating and lounging activities! Would definitely stay there again!

This is the perfect place! We enjoy the view and lake access. My husband spent most of his time on the deck fishing and relaxing by the water. Catch some pretty nice size bass and Awesome place to swim! Thank you for having us, we will defending visit again.

We had gotten our family together for a mother’s day trip and had nothing short of a great time! It was so conveniently located right on the lake and we were able to use the private dock for our boat. The house is very spacious and well stocked! The deck is a great addition as well and offers plenty of room to enjoy your meals with a great view. We definitely had a great stay and communication was excellent with the host which made it so easy.

This condo was clean, comfortable, and quiet. I enjoyed waking up to the beautiful lake views. The owner was communicative and accessible. I will recommend this property to my friends and would love to rent it again.

Me and my two daughters had a wonderful "girls retreat" at the Lakehouse. It was tastefully decorated, clean and cozy. We had a fantastic view of the lake. Saw a few wildlife (turkeys, deer, squirrels etc). Perfect location on the lake if you want to bring your boat etc. Thomas the owner was very nice and responsive whenever we had questions. Comfortable, cozy condo with beautiful views, wonderful deck, well stocked kitchen, great dock, nice owners. We launched our boat at south end of the lake at the campground marina - beautiful facility, but a bit of a car drive ( a nice drive!), much quicker in a boat. Lots of stairs. Fine for us but glad we didn’t bring the grandparents; then again, all of Tulloch is steep. Thanks for a wonderful weekend!

Great location. Make sure you figure out how you're launching whatever water vehicle you're bringing if you're bringing one. Also note the main town is about 15 minutes away. Make sure you have all the supplies you need in advance.

We had a wonderful time at the Lake Tulloch condo. Having a boat slip for our boat was key - also space to keep our paddle boards. We enjoyed being in the no wake zone for paddling and swimming. Enjoyed eating on the porch looking over the lake every night. It was a perfect set up for our family. Thank you!

To start, Thomas (the owner), was very thorough with the paperwork needed to launch our boat. He was very responsive to my questions leading up to and during our stay. The condo was very clean, comfortable, and everything worked perfectly. The kitchen was well stocked, along with the bedrooms having plenty of pillows and comfortable bedding. The location is directly across from the private boat launch, which provided great people watching. The private boat slip was well within the 5mph zone, but less than 10 minutes to open water. The water at the slip was calm, perfect to help protect the boat and provide a safe place for the kids to float and swim. I would recommend this property to friends and family.

This condo is the perfect location for a weekend on the lake!

The location was great with amazing views and easy access to the lake. Inside was quaint, clean with most essentials. Be prepared for steep driveway and lots of stairs. Neighbors were friendly and shared docks nicely. Next time we would have rented kayaks and brought them up with us given marina with rentals is ~40 min away. Overall a nice relaxing stay.

We came to town for Thanksgiving. We were out seeing sites each day so we did not use the condo to its greatest potential. Would love to come back in the summer with a boat. We did get cold at night while sleeping because we were not able to adjust the thermostat but we did not ask Thomas to adjust it either. We have a family of 5 and the condo did not feel crowded albeit we have three small kids. I thought it was a good value.

Overall simple

My family so enjoyed our trip at Thomas and Kara's condo! The place was really clean and well maintained, right on the water. We spent most of our time either in the water or on the deck at night, drinking wine and enjoying the beautiful views of the lake. We will definitely be back!

Owner was very easy to work with and is very informative. House is really cute and clean. View on the lake is awesome as well! Will definitely be staying here again!

Nice owners however will not be back. To many reasons to outline, however beautiful view.
