Nothing stood out. The Motel needs TLC. It is outdated - warn out. Room very small. No wardrobe adequate size. Owner does his best to keep it clean. Outdoor area with chairs and table was unexpected feature - comfortable to have an afternoon drink/ coffee/ tea before dinner. The staff very pleasant and kind.

Nothing was too good or too bad. Just average for a motel. Swimming pool was very small. Room small.

Nice size room and bathroom. Only stated three nights but was great. Central location and walking distance to Wests Club. Quiet area.

It is at a walking distance from the coast and some of the restaurants. The room was spacious and was generally clean.

The TV was outdated (some old Kogan model) that had inadequate app memory. Every few minutes Netflix or Youtube would stop responding so could not watch anything while in room after day out. The staff was responsive though and came to help as soon as we reported the problem. He suggested a technical workaround that would help for sometime but had to be repeated. Secondly, the basins both in the bathroom and the main room had to be plugged all the time otherwise cockroaches would come out. We saw couple of them pop out in bathroom and then we kept both holes plugged mostly.

We were at a reunion in Newcastle and the Motor Inn was ideally placed for accommodation. Staff were charming and helpful. I also enjoyed the coffee on departure. The staff kindly placed our room dear the lift as there was no disabled room available for me.
