We had an unforgettable stay in the rainforest at Dolphin Lodge! From the moment we were greeted at the airport we were met with happy smiley faces! The food was amazing, every meal had so much choice and was freshly prepared! The tours were so interesting and well planned. The team at Dolphin Lodge kept us busy with so many activities and we learnt so much about the Amazon rainforest and the people who live there, but we also had down time where we could just simply relax and take in all the nature around us. We saw so much wildlife it was amazing. The beds were so comfy and we were very grateful for the aircon. Wish we could do it all again. Thank you everyone at the lodge :)

Superb experience at Dolphin Lodge. I thank Dolphin Lodge for giving me and my husband great memories for life. Lodge is simple but has everything you need to have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Lovely little cabins within a riverside location and regular spotting of Dolphins. Even though the lodge is nearly 3 hours from Manaus, via different forms of transport (speedboat, then van/minibus, and finally on the last stretch, again speedboats), transfers are organized to fit your plans. Staff are relaxed and helpful. Throughout the trip you will enjoy the Amazon landscape and diversity of flora/fauna. Fooooooooooooood is awesome - the best breakfasts/lunches/dinners/desserts/icecreams/fruits we had anywhere in Brazil. We are vegetarian and we used to look forward to menu everyday as everything was so delicious. Staff is amazing. Our guides (Gabriel and Nico) were knowledgeable, caring, and wouldn't settle for less even though it was raining. We managed to do so many guided trips including our fav night Caiman sightseeing trip. When you consider everything that is included (all transfers to Manaus; 3 good meals a day; lovely room; guided trips and sightseeing) this is fabulous value for money. Forget wifi - you won´t miss it.

Maybe not to much variation in food Swimming pool is not advisable, and surely not to recommend for kids Swimming pool is part of the river. There is a fence with holes under the water but any animal or snake can swim in. You can not see what is under the waterline. Staff told me the pooldept is about two meter. It's not true. I found out it's at least 4 meter or more I even wonder or there is a bottom. Just take care when going in.

Beautiful, well maintained property. Clean rooms with fairly comfortable beds and A/C. All of the staff were lovely. The food was great. Tour variety exceeded expectations!

Fantastic staff and top price-service ratio. The lodge is conveniently located for someone looking to not travel days from Manaus to get to their lodge. So don't expect a remote-off-civilatization experience. Nevertheless we experienced all the beauty the nature has to offer and learned a lot about botanics and the ways locals live on the river nowadays. The lodge is beautifully located and managed, wonderful sunset view, simple and just extremely friendly staff. We felt very welcome and at home. All activities listed in the programme where covered and we had the most fantastic local portugese-speaking guide (Gabriel). Gabriel was very experienced, open and honestly he was the most attentive and nice to be around guy ever. Overall we had a very good experience.

The chalet has holes so insects/raptiles could still come in. Also our mosquito net had holes.

We stayed here in March for five days and everything including the transfers, the food, the staff, the tours and the lodge itself was excellent. The staff at the lodge were extremely kind and welcoming and went out of their way to make our trip special. Each day we did different activities with our guide, all of which were fantastic. The food was also amazing as were the caipirinhas. Staying at the lodge and seeing and experiencing the wildlife was an incredible experience. A special thanks to both our guides Mocinho and DJ.

My friend and I really enjoyed our stay at Dolphin Lodge. Great value for money, the staff and guides were great! Our guide Rildo (not how it is spelt) spoke great English, was very informative, friendly and always made our expeditions fun. The food was really tasty, a lot of love was put into the dishes. I'm a vegetarian and they accommodated my needs as much as they could, I never went hungry at all! The guides in general were super helpful, I literally felt like I didn't do anything to help as before I could they had it already taken care of it. The Amazon is a beautiful and special place and the Dolphin Lodge is an ideal option for you to explore it from.

Wonderful, peaceful place with kind, helpful and extremely competent staff. The sense of community permeated every moment of my stay. There are trips every morning and afternoon and the guides do everything they can to make your stay memorable. The place is beautiful. I travelled alone, but I felt safe and cared for at all times.

I didn't like leaving. I wanted to stay forever.

The food, location and rooms were all amazing. Friendly and experienced guides took you on walking and boat tours in small groups (about 4 guests and 2 guides). The variety of wildlife was amazing and we saw many dolphins as the name of the lodge suggests. We were expecting the Amazon the be hot and full of bugs. We were pleasantly surprised by the nice temperature during our stay. There were no bugs during the day and a little bit of bug spray was all we needed to feel comfortable at night. Less bugs than camping around Rio de Janerio! Overall the Amazon was a safe and comfortable trip and we would highly recommend Dolphin Lodge!

Trips with our guide were fantastic. We had great adventures every day! Also lunch and dinner with fresh fish were delicious. Location of the lodge is amazing with perfect view.

Our stay was wonderful. We loved the whole experience. Our guides were local and knew all the places to search for animals. They were insightful and geared the excursions towards what our family was interested in. The rooms are simple but clean. We appreciated the delicious food, and the sounds of the jungle every night.

Our room didn't have hot water, but another room did. We were so hot that the cold water felt good, but it might have been a nice option.
