Good location & quiet. Heater was very cosy.
Hosts never came & introduced themselves. Only a phone message to say we were in the wrong room & to call back as soon as possible. Rang back & were asked "had we already unpacked? Said she had made an error in the room allocations & we were meant to be in another cottage. We were out for dinner & weren't going to race back. Never asked if we were comfortable, needed anything or a simple welcome. Also our shower had not been cleaned from previous guests as their soap was still in there:(

Gorgeous cottage and grounds. Bedding and towels clean and soft
Cleanliness, kitchen cupboard fronts where dirty, dust and cobwebs, dirt buildup on doors under knobs.

The air-conditioning was nice and cool.
When the jets in the spa were turned on, there was a lot of fluff/ hair etc.

The location was fantastic. Just the right distance outside of Toowoomba to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Highfields. The cottage was beautiful and very well kept, the bird feeder out front was great (partner and I love birds). Excellent facilities.
Honestly, there really isn't any negatives. If it's a rainy day and you're stuck inside the tv is small and too far some the lounge but honestly, that's it.

I really enjoyed walking in the Davidson arboretum next door in the morning and evening, a going to Peace Haven park just up the road 2km.

Gorgeous private cottages, very quiet location, was expecting a little more walking distance to the cottages

The location was great, its handy to 7 eleven even walking distance, close to tourist sights, a very nice peaceful area, the cottage was beautiful, comfortable, bird bath and feed to attract the parrots and watch them eat and bath its was so relaxing, has everything you need.
Honestly there was nothing we didnt like, didnt realise you can get a breakfast arranged at extra cost but would have been happy to have that.

Great all round cottage.
I feel like Jan and John thought of everything. Including the convection microwave and toastie maker. A full kitchen made it easy to prepare a meal and do some baking.
The surrounding gardens were fantastic. I thoroughly enjoyed feeding the birds from the front porch.
The gas fire place and spa bath were exceptional. A really comfortable stay.
Unfortunately it was a bit to close to the main road. However, still an amazing and relaxing stay.
Perhaps the need for a bathroom door...

Beautiful cottage and property. Cozy and warm.
Cottage itself was very clean and comfortable and location is excellent. Loved that I didn’t have to go far to walk my dog as there’s a lovely arboretum right on the other side of the hedge.
The chairs on the covered front porch is a wonderful touch for enjoying the garden and fresh morning air and birds singing.
There was no door between bedroom and bathroom/toilet. I would have liked a smart tv so that I could have streamed Netflix using my account with the wifi connection provided. A shelf above the clothes hanging rack in the closet would be awesome for additional storage of our belongings. Although there was ample storage underneath the bed.
