This is our fourth stay here! Wonderful efficient mini one bedroom With full kitchen and nice large bathroom. The apartment is in excellent shape and super super clean.Plus the host lives on site and is wonderful. Best part is how easy it is to walk straight into the heart of Greenport from the house, Just two blocks away.And he has 2 units here, so you can travel with friends, and both get your own unit in the same house.Highly recommend!

I found the property to be exceptional. The apartment is spotless! The location is a block from restaurants, shopping, sightseeing. I felt VERY safe walking. John, who lives at the property, was a superior host being very responsive to every question I had before and during my trip. He's a friendly guy too.
The unit has everything to cook in or you can walk to tons of restaurants. We liked Noahs for a retirement party. We bought groceries at the market just of couple of blocks away. And, that worked out great.
The house is very old but it is remodeled very nicely. The private entrance to the unit is toward the back of the house and you have to walk up a flight of stairs but that was not a problem. I hardly heard any noise. The street is very private.
Wi-Fi worked great. Air conditioning also worked great. We had a difficult time finding an Uber.
I would not hesitate to stay at this property in the future, as a matter of fact, it would be the first one I would request to rent.

This apartment is the perfect size for 2 people. The bed is very comfortable, the towels fluffy, and the kitchen well equipped. It’s an easy walk downtown and John’s restaurant recommendations were extremely helpful.
The only issue we had was with the smart TV which did not want to interact with our Apple phones or IPads. I think Android users will be ok with it.

The perfect location!
I took a girls trip with my friend out to Greenport and our stay couldn’t have been more perfect. The space was very clean, quiet, and spacious for the two of us.
My favorite part was how close it was to everything. The neighborhood was absolutely lovely and John was a great host. We asked if we could sit in the backyard to read (coming from NYC we always try to take advantage of fresh air) and he put some chairs out for us which was very nice!
We will 100% be visiting Greenport again and will undoubtedly book this rental again.

Ideal Location
My girlfriend and I enjoyed our stay very much. The property was ideally located downtown, walking distance from anywhere we decided we wanted to go, which is exactly what we were looking for. The property was clean and organized and had everything we needed during our stay. We did not get it meet the property manager, John, since we didn't require anything. However he kindly texted us after we had to leave a night early due to a pending hurricane and welcomed us back if we decided to visit again in the future. I thoroughly recommend this location.

Greenport Getaway
We had a wonderful 2 nights in John’s Greenport apt. It was the perfect last minute find that made our weekend possible. The apt was comfortable and clean, with easy keyless entry. The location can’t be beat. Walking distance to everything. John was a gracious host, and we enjoyed the opportunity to meet him. We hope to return for many more stays.

This quiet and private property met our high expectations! It was extremely clean, well stocked, and organized. Great location for walking to waterfront, restaurants, bars, and coffee shops. Nice private side porch for enjoying coffee or cocktails. Would highly recommend this property for a beach trip or wine tour.

Our stay was so lovely. We really enjoyed the convenience and comfort of the studio.
John was an amazing host and recommended so many wonderful restaurants and attractions. The one drawback is that the bed is not very comfortable and could use an update. That being said, the space is immaculate (and even came with make-up wipes!!!)
We loved the fact that we could park the car once and walk to literally everything from Claudio's to Flavors.
We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

The apartment was in a great location, walking distance to the village. And the furnishing was nice and updated. I did not give a 5 star because the property has 3 rental units, and I was awaken during the night by loud voices and noises from the neighbors. Otherwise, it is a nice place.

Apartment was as advertised and was clean and comfortable. Very accommodating with check in and check out times. House was quiet and so were neighbors. The walk to town was only about 5 minutes. Would stay here again if I make it back to Greenport.

138 Central was an ideal introduction to the North Fork The apartment was lovely with everything we needed. The apartment is bright & sunny. The ac is quiet & the bed is very comfortable. The owner is very welcoming & helpful w any problems. The wifi connection is good & my husband was able to work remotely in the mornings. Greenport is a delightful town to enjoy & to explore from. We hope to return for a longer stay & strongly recommend 138 Central! It is one of the best units we have rented.

Best trip ever
My wife and I were looking for a nice quiet place walking distance from town, and did this place deliver! John was an amazing host and he was always a text message away for any help. He offered us some bikes and we quickly took advantage of that , biking to a winery one day ( less then a mile) and taking the bikes on the ferry to Shelter island. The restaurant scene is amazing and the live music on the water was great every night. The apartment allowed us to cook a leisurely breakfast everyday before we began our day of exploring. A/C was great and apartment was very clean and updated. We definitely plan on going back. Two enthusiastic thumbs up.
