Really liked the location, host was super responsive and overall great experience. 3 bathrooms and 2 large bedrooms, good living area and quiet considering proximity to echo beach
I think probably the two things are that the bins didn’t get removed without asking and that you couldn’t flush toilet paper, feels like something you should know before hand

The bathroom in our room stank so bad we had to close it off and use the downstairs bathroom, our front door wouldnt lock. When we arrived we received an email saying we weren’t meant to check in until the following day which freaked us out and not until 20 minutes later we were told it was just an error

pool had good sun for most of the day, rooms were upstairs and had 2 toilets downstairs
crabs were in the pool from what we think was a sewer, you cannot get go jeks from this hotel you have to walk almost a kilometre, there is a off lead aggressive dog when you walk down the driveway

Mould on bedroom ceiling caused my guest’s allergies. The bedroom door upstairs wouldn’t open & close easily without scraping the floor loudly. Water pooled throughout bathroom after a shower, didn’t drain away quickly. The toilet couldn’t handle toilet paper, as per signs. The living room decor was tacky & out-dated when Bali has so many modern furnishings available. Lots of ants and insects in the outdoor living room. Pillows were so high. Keys kept getting stuck in door locks.

Unfortunately right next too the lake, which has a smell too it. Also couldn’t cook in the kitchen due to insects throughout the cutlery, utensils and draws.
2 out of the 3 bedrooms were locked so we were only able to access one.

The location
The villa is starting to get run down, nothing like the pictures. Showers flood, dirty walls, kitchen and bathroom facilities. The kitchen sink was filthy. Will not stay here again

This was beautifully located spot, we would come back again. The property was a little dated but comfortable. The hosts were kind and gave us the entire villa for two people so there is really no room for complaints. They also let us have a very late checkout free of charge which was amazing and made up for the no coffee/tea in the kitchen.. I know first world problems right. Was great to be back in Bali with the fabulous Indonesians. What a beautiful place.
