Beautifull smal village with amazing views to the valley. Really peacefull and relaxing stay for two nights for us. Nice clean hottub (inside) and pool outside. Local restaurant was awesome, but you should do a reserwation in advance. Enough parkingspace for 2-4 cars.

The house is really nice and in the end of a village. Lends itself to privacy, had it not been so many visitors. Chianti sells itself in September. Lots of vineries, and wine tasting all around. Easy to rent a bike from Gaiole.

The owner came few times a day in the garden to water the plants and feed rabbits. Not so much privacy therefore. The pool was nice, but we did not use as one never knows when we will be visited, and also in September there are a lot of mosquitos. We were contemplating watching the sunset over the hills with a glass of wine, but mosquitoes were so many that no repellent worked. Ended up staying indoors.

The central location to a fabulous restaurant which we ate at 3 nights in a row. The pool was lovely and the surrounding countryside was peaceful.

There was NO privacy as the Nonna of the property arrived every night and every morning to water all the pot plants and yell at me about locking the gate all the time. I had to explain to her in Italian that her nephew was in the house trying to sort out the wifi which wasn't working. He kindly lent us a local SIM card. She appeared at our bedroom window one morning watering. We hadn't closed the curtains ........ The following morning at 6.30 the nephew arrived outside our bedroom once again watering . We found that we were trapped and couldn't relax as we were fearful the whole time about someone appearing. I think it would be terrible if no one was able to speak Italian. The pool furniture was in need of replacing. All the lounges were broken.
