My husband and I booked Hen Gilfach Stable to celebrate my birthday and to have a romantic and relaxing break away. The accommodation was incredibly comfortable and spotless with lovely home comforts throughout. There are great views and it is not far from Church Bay. The hot tub was amazing which added to the luxurious feel of the The Stable and we both felt incredibly relaxed by the end of our stay. One of the many highlights was the incredible sunset.

Clean warm comfortable and everything we needed was there

I cannot say I didn’t like it because I did. I went in winter time and the Jacuzzi was a little walk and as private as I thought it might be . However this is just a hiccup and presumption from me and no reason to complain

Absolutely loved our stay very cute little stable house bed was very comfortable we had our own kitchen to make meals in every night there was a tv they also provided dvds for us to watch the bathroom had upgraded to a walk in shower ( different to pictures) that was lovely and we even had our own little seating place just steps away from the outside going to the hot tub overall it was a lovely stay and would 100% recommend to anyone else if you’re looking for a nice quiet time away

Quiet location, very private and peaceful. The hot tub was great, super clean and the personalised ‘Hen Gilfach Stable’ robes were great to walk down to the hot tub in. The bed was extremely comfortable. Bathroom was very clean, shower very spacious with a lovely large waterfall head.

Slight smell of damp and some damp on the walls - not a massive issue.

Incredibly clean and well kept. Very cute little accommodation. The hot tub area is lovely and feels very private. Very peaceful and cosy. Perfect for our little honeymoon getaway

A little out of the way if you want somewhere where you don't have to drive. Parking space is a little small and tight which we struggled with due to having a big car

The bathroom was nice

No storage space to hang clothes, no space for suitcase, Mould on wall behind settee awkward position of television too many artificial flowers and ornaments taking up space access to hot tub was dangerous. No lighting, not enough hand rail and uneven path and no holder for cover so had to lift the cover off by hand which was too heavy and dangerous

The location was very peaceful and relaxing we had lovely weather which helped us to get maximum use of the hot tub

I must admit I loved this place. Maybe it could have a table and a barbecue down by the hot tub 🤔 but that wouldn't put me off going back
