Poor host. Hot tub didn’t work. Steam room didn’t work. Complaint raised. Partial refund requested. No comms. Very disappointing. Sykes also didn’t assist. Shame on you.

The house was quirky as indicated by the photographs on the website. All the equipment you could want for your stay was provided. It was well located for all the facilities in Criccieth.

The key collection arrangements were less than clear. Unfortunately the house next door, which you have to cross to access the property was being renovated so you had to cross an area covered in discarded building materials and tools.

The accommodation is perfectly placed in Criccieth to explore the region. Within walking distance there are a few pubs, takeaways, mini-markets, cafes, tea-rooms, an ice cream parlour and a good quality restaurant. After a day's walking and exploring in Snowdonia, the Lleyn peninsular and beyond, everything we needed was right on hand without having to drive anywhere else. The accommodation itself is very well appointed and refurbished to a high standard. It is on 3 floors, with every appliance you would reasonably need for a self-catering stay. When we needed the central heating, the house warmed up very quickly but there is plenty of ventilation for warmer days. There was sufficient on-street parking in the neighbourhoood for us to be able to leave the car within a couple of minute's walk every night. We will definitely be returning in the future, I can't recommend this place and the hosts highly enough.

No dislikes other than that anybody over 5'11" needs to watch out for the ceiling beams in the bedroom. The stairs are quite steep and may not be suitable for somebody with restricted mobility.

Everything was provided, clean and tidy. Very lovely and comfortable place
