We have stayed at various condos in WaterColor for many years, and this is by far our favorite unit! The ocean views are amazing! The proximity to the beach and Beach Club are so easy. The unit is onthe second floor with elevator access, and once inside everything is on one floor. Both bedrooms are large enough to accommodate pack n plays, in case you’re traveling with little ones. And there was plenty of seating inside the unit! Definitely our favorite place to stay and looking forward to a return visit!

Another good visit. Unit was clean, Royal staff responsive (although TV issues are elusive). New refrig is a plus. Big TV in living area needs to be replaced or have some supplemental sound system added. Symptom is what we used to describe as "blown speaker" -- audio is loud enough but garbled, distorted. Small TVs are fine but audio on big guy is unacceptable. Simple fix is new TV but sound bar might do the trick. Have staff give it a listen. Disappointing that Watercolor amenities were mostly shut down. Some of this was weather but also lots of disruptive construction with primary paths to beach closed.

First, the location here is amazing! You can’t get closer to the Beach Club or beach access in Watercolor. The condo was more spacious than it looked in pics! The balconies are great and it’s so lovely to have an ocean view. Royal Destinations was very responsive and kind with any communication or issues we had. The unit itself has some issues. The sound from the condo above is very loud. You can hear every step. We were awakened every morning by foot steps. The freezer is not functional—RD serviced it 3 times but it only got worse. The fridge is old and falling apart. There are plenty of dishes but the cookware is old and needs replacing. We found multiple roaches. The pillows are terrible. We didn’t get a blanket for the pull out (though they did happily bring after requested). The door knobs leave your hands smelling metallic like pennies. There are two showers in the unit, however you can not run them both and once and have hot water in each. The hot water runs out quickly and every day one or two of my family of 5 had a cold shower. Plus the shower door is gross and covered in black gunk at the bottom. The baseboards are rotting/grimy in several places. There is about a dangerous 1” screw sticking out of a beam on the patio. Instead of removing it or screwing it in, it was just painted over. Overall, the unit needs some love and updates. It lacks the nice furnishing and finishes of many of the other Watercolor homes. It is directly behind the restaurant at the beach club. One night around 10pm to pressure washed all of the equipment until at least midnight. It’s incredibly loud right outside the primary bedroom. (Apparently this is done weekly). It says in the description that there is a grill but there is not. We did love using the provided bikes. We were there at peak season and it was challenging at times to get a parking spot. If being close to the beach if your top priority, this is your place. If a quiet peac

I would rent this unit again if I needed to vacation with my dog. However, the multiple reviews about the stomping noise from the unit above are true. The multiple reviews about the noise from the gym below this unit are true. Those problems are easily solved with earplugs. The bicycles were not usable due to flat tires. We complained more than once but the tires were never addressed in a manner that improved them to a usable condition. Easily solved by renting your own. Not worth missing one day of enjoying being on your bicycle by waiting on someone who has no intention of restoring the bikes to a usable condition. Also, none of us are allergy sufferers, however, we all suffered sneezing, runny noses, headaches, etc. We thought it was the weather due to Ida passing through. On the last day we were there we checked the filter for the air conditioner. It was completely clogged with debris. Fortunately, there were extra filters and we replace the dirty one with a clean one. Our symptoms cleared up right away. Also, some of the structure of this building is decaying. The support posts around the outside are in the process of being replaced. This did not bother us, however, the deck railing on the side of this unit started to give way when one of us leaned on it. We reported it and stayed clear of it. We told them not to worry about fixing it until we left. Hopefully, the management company will address it in a more timely manner than they addressed the unusable bicycles. I do plan to post the pictures we took on Trip Advisor. The pictures include the disgusting filter on the air conditioner, the flat tires on the bicycles, the dangerously loose railing. I typically simple ignore requests to review when my opinion includes a negative review. However, due to this management company blowing up my email with requests for a review, I finally complied with the request!

This is a great condo and perfectly located right next to the beach club.

Not worth the money
If you are a light sleeper or don’t want to hear the constant pounding of people staying above you or people dropping dumbbells on the floor below you in the 24 hour fitness center, stay away. Fitness users start dropping at 5:30 am and whenever the guests above you arise which for us with a young family above was 6:00 am. Biggest selling point is proximity to the pool and beach.

This was our first trip to Seaside during the Winter and it was a wonderful experience! The condo was beautiful and well-equipped. The beds were very comfortable and the balconies provided the perfect place to sit while enjoying coffee in the morning and wine at night. It was so convenient to the shops and restaurants within WaterColor and at Seaside. We made great use of the complimentary bikes and at night, we enjoyed walking our pup through the neighborhood and seeing all of the beautiful Christmas decorations. It was the perfect way to wrap up 2020!

This is my (our) third stay in this property. It is well-located, comfortable, with adequate supplies of cooking gear. The unit gets noise from Watercolor gym below and footsteps from unit above, but that was a feature on other visits and is tolerable. It would be nice to have printed instructions for the TV/cable systems, and the furniture is beginning to feel a bit tired, but overall a nice place to hang out with access to Watercolor amenities without forcing guest into the heart of "resort life." RD staff was generally available and helpful It was easy to extend my stay by a day but the door code was changed on the initial end-day. Nobody sent me the code and when I was locked out late Monday afternoon with no phone it was quite a scramble to contact RD to get the code.

Wonderful property with great amenities. Location and furnishing wonderful. Disappointed in the quality of the video setup. Very hard to navigate and no platform to watch movies with the family. Netflex, amazon prime. Also very limited hot water. Could not take a bath due to small hot water tank. No blender available also. Would stay here again. Very nice property

We loved the location to beach, beach club, local restaurants!! Having the bikes were key. The property is beautiful inside and well dept; noticed some severe scratches on floor which renters have likely done which is a shame. There is lots of rotten wood on porches which needs to be addressed for safety but we noticed it looks like it is being addressed. Again, we will return. The cleanliness could have been much better; we arrived once we were notified to do so and cleaners were wrapping up and departing which was fine. However, the floors in bathrooms still had hair everywhere and we found small kibbel dog food all over the hardwoods in den/breakfast area. Team needs to focus more on cleaning the floors as evident on such light colored floors in baths, kitchen and living areas. There was an issue with the AC but it was fixed in a very timely manner right after we notified property. We loved having the door code and app to utilize prior to and during our stay. We will use Royal Destinations again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The condo had a full kitchen with beautiful pots, pans, and all the dishes needed to prepare a meal. The full-size washer and dryer was also great to keep our sandy swimsuits clean. Our beds were super comfortable, the sofas were big and great for lounging, the patios are enormous with great views of the ocean. Last, the location cannot be beat!

Rental unit was very clean and property managers very responsive. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. Only minor issue is that they didn’t provide some essentials. I understand providing our own paper towels, toilet paper and groceries. But they really need to provide the following which was not provided: cleaning supplies to wipe down kitchen counters, spatula, oven mitts.
Just a small update with essentials would help a lot. Otherwise, everything was great and it was right next to the beach which was wonderful. Great location.

Watercolor is a nice, quiet, laid-back town with easy access to seaside and Grayton Beach. It is easy to bike and walk to everything and lots of choices for food. I wish that there was more information about the amenities in watercolor resort area and not just the resort and beach access. The unit is beautiful and in an excellent location... except for being above the Watercolor workout room. This wouldn't be a problem if not for the endless inconsiderate people who drop free weights and those on the weight machine constantly. The noise and vibration was significant and constant from 7am to the evening. I blame the staff in the workout room for allowing this to happen. This is not a place for heavy weight lifting training. I hope that this does not occur every day, but it did for the five we were there. Perhaps the fall break crowd was a factor.

This was our 9th year to visit 30A. Throughout the 9 years we have hopped all over. This was our first year to stay in Watercolor and we will definitely be back. The construction did put a small damper on our trip, but overall not bad at all. Our daughter also had a broken arm and could not get in the water...this put a much bigger damper on our trip! The condo is in a great location and will be even better once the pool construction is complete. Overall the condo was clean...a little dusty. We were provided plenty of TP and paper towels. We bought more upon arrival and did not use the TP at all. If you leave the area during the day sometimes it was hard to get parking close to the condo upon return. I think this was because of people driving to the pool/beach and parking. We look forward to booking this condo again in the future!

The vacation as a whole was good. The unit is in a great place for the beach and gym and eventually the pool area when complete. Having said that, I wish we had been told that the unit overlooked the construction site and that work begins very early. Relaxing on the deck while looking at the ocean with coffee in the morning was impossible. Property could use a deep clean but was okay on the surface.

Beautiful unit, but the horrendous lighting made it feel like a commercial retail store at night. We kept most lights off or dim - otherwise it was just too harsh. Great space for our needs and good proximity to beach and pool. Pool scene was crowded, but upgrades are coming.

We loved Goldenrod Circle, #202. It had a beautiful view of the ocean and was right next-door to the beach club. The condo itself was very spacious, lovely and extremely comfortable. The first night, we noticed that air conditioning was not working. After sending workmen over, we were told that it was not able to get fixed until the day we departed but royal destinations gave us a discount on the rate which made up for it even though it was quite warm. We were able to open the doors and use the supplied fans to make it bearable. We enjoyed going to the beach, riding bikes and going on long walks along 30a. The owners of this unit decorated it beautifully and we would love to stay there again.
