A delightful house in a wonderful position. VERY well equipped with everything you could possibly need. Spotlessly clean. And the bonus is the Clachan next door - a really friendly pub serving excellent food!

Great family base for wedding at the castle and sightseeing the local area/Skye, only 5 mins walk to the castle, comfortable and clean. Great facilities within the property, hosts available to answer any questions, will use the property again. THANKS for making our stay perfect !!

The cottage was well equipped, comfortable and spacious. Dornie is a great base for walking in the area and visiting Skye. At the moment the lively pub next door doesn't serve food on a Monday or Tuesday but a Fish supper is available Monday evening from a mobile van. The Kintail Lodge is a good place for food.

Perhaps a pint of milk but other than that everything was great.

Pub very noisy on weekend especially when people are sitting outside. Live music on Saturday went on until well past midnight. Felt like walls were vibrating. And then all revellers left shouting down the street. Not conducive to sleep especially with children. Bathroom was lovely but smelt damp. We also noticed a potential leak under the sink which soaked our personal items. TV had line of missing pixels on the right and although did not affect our overall ability to watch, obviously needs to be fixed. Had to message owner for access details the day before arrival. Usually these are sent on payment in full.

Front door was really difficult to lock. Pub next door was noisy on our first night (but not generally noisy for the rest of the week).

It’s really close to Eilean Donan castle, you can easily walk there. It was comfortable to have two separate bedrooms and a living room as well. We had everything we could’ve ask for.

We couldn’t lock the front door no matter how much we tried.

Lovely cottage. Clean, comfy, homely everything there you need & a fantastic location. Would definitely go back.

The location was brilliant for touring the area. The house was comfortably furnished.

The house is next door to a brilliant pub however this did mean my children struggled to sleep sone nights with the chatter of outside drinkers.

The spacious kitchen, Arrival prosecco was a nice touch. Lovely bathroom with power shower. Netflix. Hosts were very helpful when we accidentally turned the telly off at the wall ( socket was not where expected)

Didn’t really affect us but outside area and porch could use a lick of paint. For host’s information flat screen telly has a blue line of dead pixels on the right side. Didn’t spoil enjoyment and Probably ok for now but might need future attention. Some road noise but unavoidable given location. Found people wandering into the porch one evening, adamant they had booked the property, turned out to be the one in front: are both of them 12 Frances St.?

I had to travel to the area on a work trip and from confirming my reason for travel during COVID restrictions Bernadette could not have been more helpful or understanding. The house was lovely and warm on arrival with a great heating system. Something of a must in the highlands of Scotland. As we were eating in each evening we made good use of the well equipped kitchen and dining area. Having Netflix was also great and the WiFi worked well.

The only disadvantage that may affect some people is that the only toilet and bathroom is on the ground floor and the bedrooms are on the first floor.

Very nice, spacious, well-kept and well-equipped house, the offer is 100% consistent with the content. Peaceful, quiet area, ideal for rest. I recommend this place.
