Achim was very welcoming and accommodating and made our stay at Villa Scandic Apartments as comfortable as possible - also offering a shuttle service to the nearby Europa-Park. It was unfortunate that there was hot weather when the under floor cooling system was out however, Achim supplied Dyson fans for each room in an effort to keep as as cool as possible until it was repaired mid way through our stay. We were also met with a gift upon our return on our second day - another tick! The Apartment is clean and well equipped with most things you will need for a short stay, allowing for self catering and enough space for the whole family to relax after an exhausting day exploring Europa-Park. I would certainly recommend Villa Scandic for your stay - convenient and comfortable!

No air conditioning - cooling system is under floor, this should probably be updated to avoid confusion with guests. The sauna wasn't available for use but this didn't phase us too much personally.

Very respectable hosts. They are keen to make your stay pleasant. Lovely apartment and furniture. It matches the park theme.

The stairs can be difficult if you have languages.

The location was great. The proximity to Rulantica and Europapark was very close. It took me 5 minutes to drive from Rulantica to the house. We saw many people walking to Europapark from the neighborhood of our house. There are several restaurants in walking distance. The house was set up comfortably. There is a private parking space for your car. There was plenty of sleeping space for our family and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen had a large refrigerator, coffee machine and cooking appliances. I thought it was very special that the host also plans for children. There is a very nice crib, child's table and chairs with drawing materials, toys, and animals to keep them busy in addition to a bunk bed with children's themed ikea bedding. The items for my kids was a big plus for me. The bathroom was clean and very large. The host met us at the front door to provide the keys and some information and also drove us to Europapark and picked us up when we were finished. He brought us to the front entrance and when he picked us up we felt like VIP in his big Mercedes van right at the front door. The host is friendly, helpful, and available for anything you need but not intrusive. We loved our stay and we would love to come back when in the area again!

Gorgeous apartment in a house on a quiet street. Facilities were excellent with a fabulous bathroom. Kitchen everything you need and cool Smeg appliances, free coffee and water. Walkable to park but also a shuttle available. Overall excellent stay and will use again as alternative to big park hotels.

We are going back. From arrival to departure, all our needs were met and then more. Friendly host and willing to go the distance to please guests. We were escorted around the property for familiarization, always quick to respond with professional and friendly talk, and were even offered transportation assistance when it worked with their schedule. Even when we lost a valuable item they took care of us. Most excellent! Location is top. Walking distance to the market. Walking distance to the parks. Near a park for the kids, but not surrounded on all sides. Accessible parking. Great town and access for a jog, too. The apartment is cared for. It is clear that the apartment was designed with comfort and livable function in mind. The kitchen has everything you need - home appliances, furniture, and electronics were of great quality - and the bathroom was a 10+! Well taken care of, too. It has all the little things that make it feel like a home. Impressive. We really don't need another place to stay when we visit Rust. We're going back. 100%
