Ein Gaskamin aus Naturstein steht bereit, um die Kälte eines kühlen Abends abzuwehren. Die Waschküche verfügt über eine Waschmaschine und einen Trockner in voller Größe. We made last minute plans for a weekend getaway with our family (Total - 6 of us) and dogs to drive to Rams Retreat @ Rams Hill. This was our second time staying at this residence and enjoyed every minute !!! The hosts are amazing and readily available if we needed anything, which we didn't; as the house and property are gorgeous and fully equipped with anything and everything we would need.
We loved the pool & pool toys, jacuzzi, and bbq'd every night. The house was very clean, comfortable beds, with plenty of towels, for bath & pool. Kitchen has more than enough utensils, pots & pans, and drinkware. Could not ask for anything better !!! Love Rams Retreat.
We already booked another stay and are definitely excited to return for another memorable family trip. Perfect location, gorgeous property and excellent stay !!!

This was our third stay at this house, this time for over six weeks. We absolutely love it here. Rams Hill is peaceful and quiet and the views from this house are breathtaking, regardless of the weather. There are many fantastic places to walk and hike in and around Rams Hill. Borrego Springs is about a 15 minute drive, if you are looking for basic shopping and restaurants.
The house is set up so that the back yard is very private while still having spectacular views. The interior is spacious, comfortable and easy to live in. Several large sliding glass doors allow the lovely fresh desert air to flow through the house. The beds are comfortable, as is the other furniture. We cooked most of our meals and this house has a very well equipped kitchen. The back yard is beautiful with plenty of comfy seating and several tables. We ate almost every breakfast and lunch and a few dinners outside. The grounds, pool and hot tub were kept very tidy by weekly maintenance crews. We enjoyed star gazing in the hot tub almost every night. The smaller front yard is also very pretty, private and well tended. The house has a cozy gas fireplace which we used on several chilly evenings.
We travel with two Cardigan corgis and they are in heaven at this house, constantly exploring the very secure front and back yards, chasing little lizards from bush to bush.
Ted and Pam are the best hosts! They are extremely responsive when we have a question or if something needs attention or repair.

This is a great place to stay for quiet relaxation. Sit in the hot tub and enjoy the stars. Cook up dinner and eat around the fire. Minutes from Anza Borrego State Park for hiking, off-roading, and nature watching.
Great communications with the owners for questions. I highly recommend this location for your Borrego Springs getaway!

We had a great time. Cooked fun family meals in the beautiful well equipped kitchen. It was our first family get away with all our adult children. Our family and dogs loved the Rams Hill Retreat for the holiday ... a Beautiful location, a large home with all of the amenities, gorgeous views, and much more. Wonderful surrounding neighborhoods for walking, biking, and ending the day in the Spa. Very Clean and will definitely return for another weekend celebration. Ted and Pam were readily available and helpful with answering our questions as needed.

This home is my favorite place to stay in Borrego Springs. It offers up the best combination of comfort, amenities, views, location and quiet. Great kitchen for cooking as we ate all of our meals at the house. Why leave? The star gazing is amazing. I’m already looking forward to booking my fifth stay. Thank you!

I spent my birthday at the Ram's Hill retreat with two other couples. Our group has stayed in that house at least a half-dozen times in the past and we love it there. The house, the location, and the hosts couldn't be better! Pam and Ted are always helpful, informative, and accessible. Over the years we have seen the great improvements they have made to the house to make it more comfortable and inviting. We very much look forward to our next stay there!

We enjoyed this place for star gazing and proximity to Anza Borrega State Park hikes. The owners were very attentive to any issues that came up and the house was supplied with everything one would need to make meals and spend time at the pool. The community is very quiet and the location is very serene.

We had a wonderful time stargazing in the backyard and relaxing in a very comfortable and beautiful home with many amenities. The place was very clean and organized and the hosts were very welcoming.

Home had a great layout and had everything we needed. Wish we could have used the pool more. The pool vacuum did not work until the pool maintenance guy stopped in close to when we were leaving and then it started working. We let the owners know and were told it was on an automatic schedule which I am sure it was but it didn't clean until the pool maintenance guy came to do his weekly maintenance and the pool was too dirty to want to be in the water other than our feet.

You wouldn’t think going to the desert in the middle of June would be a good idea- but if you’re looking for a GREAT pool, perfect air conditioning, a beautiful house, an insane view, and absolute peace and quiet, this is when you want to come. Bonus: There’s a new cafe with Starbucks down the street at Casa del Zorro.
We come here multiple times a year, and we always stay here. We love to eat at Carlee’s and get mud pie, we head up to Julian for food and shopping, we visit Font’s point, and of course we sit by the pool all day!
Last, the hosts are kind and responsive. They are IDEAL. We just love it here.

This is our 2nd time staying at this lovely home. We love its proximity to desert hiking and star gazing. The clubhouse has a good restaurant within walking distance and it’s a short drive into town for other restaurants and stores. We spent Memorial Day weekend floating in the pool and hanging out with my two adult daughters and their husbands. Great kitchen and supplies for making dinners together. We are already talking about next year’s trip!

This property had everything we needed for a golf getaway at Ram's Hill. Finishing the round and coming back to our own spa is the way to go.
Communicaiton from the owners was excellent as well. And "checkout" was easy, just shut everything down and leave the keys.

Can not speak highly enough about this home… everything we needed, beautifully furnished, spacious, clean. Excellent proximity to golf course and pickleball courts. Accommodated our 4 adults, two teenage children and dog perfectly.

Great Property
Pamela and Ted were very accommodating and took extra effort to help our group with any questions and needs. They even left a gift and nice card for our birthday girl! The house was well equipped and included extremely detailed instructions on every aspect of the home and pool. We really enjoyed the pool and privacy. We had a great stay!

Beautiful Desert Getaway
If you are looking for a fantastic house to stay in while you explore the wonders of the Borrego desert, look no further. This house has everything you could ask for. It is immaculate, well cared for and has everything you could possibly need. The bedrooms are spacious with extremely comfortable beds. The living room and dining room are both large with plenty of room and comfortable seating for everyone. The kitchen is also spacious and is well supplied with everything you could possibly need. Best of all is the backyard which has a large pool, spacious covered patio and an incredible and unforgettable view of the beautiful Borrego desert. Pam and her husband have thought of everything to make their guests comfortable here. They are very knowledgeable about the area and provided great information to enhance our enjoyment of Rams Hill which is a wonderful gated community and is where the house is located, Borrego Springs and the desert in general. We would highly recommend this property and look forward to returning!

Great getaway
This was just like staying at a friends place. We all agreed it was the best stocked rental we have ever stayed at, they had everything! Especially in the kitchen. We were very grateful for the little extras - towels, pool toys, doggie pool, etc. They had thorough instructions, brochures for activities and the hosts were very responsive when we had a question. All in all a great place to stay when in Anza Borrego!

My family and I had an amazing time at this beautiful home. The house is secluded and has an incredible yard. My two little dogs had a blast roaming around in the yard. Would definitely stay here again!

Great house, beautiful location. We spent relaxing afternoons by the pool and evenings watching the stars. Great dark skies for stargazing. Super comfortable beds and linens; lots of comfortable space and a well-equipped kitchen (we love to cook). And we all loved the coyote howling - best desert sound; and our morning roadrunner visit by the pool - it always had a tasty morsel in it’s mouth. This was my second time here and I will definitely be back! Thank you Pam and Ted.

We had a fantastic stay. The house is large and very well equipped - the kitchen is well stocked with all the basics. We loved the spacious outdoor patio adjacent to the pool - with various seating areas in the shade. The pool was wonderful and views gorgeous. The house is located in a private community - it has no direct neighbors and feels very peaceful and quiet.

Always a lovely stay
We have stayed a few times at this house (married couple and their pup, Bumper) and each visit has been rewarding and relaxing. The hosts, while remote, are very responsive and the house is spacious and well appointed. On this trip, we invited two friends which meant we used each of the three bedrooms for the first time. The house was easily able to accommodate four adults, plus dog, and we lucked out with perfect weather which allowed us to take full advantage of the family (and pet) friendly outdoor area.

This large house was clean, the beds comfortable, and the kitchen well equipped and stocked with everything we needed. The house is situated on the top of a hill so there are stunning views of the surrounding mountains from every window in the house. Borrego Springs is an official "dark sky" community. The nightly display of stars was amazing (there are telescopes in the house with instructions on how to use them). There are no homes adjacent to the house so we stayed in the spa until after midnight one night without worrying about disturbing neighbors. The owners have left all the information you need about the house as well as things to do and see in town and the surrounding areas. There are outdoor tables, chairs and lounge chairs located under a covered patio near the pool. The are tons of pool toys and Bocce Balls. There is a second seating area in the front garden and both the front and back yards have been beautifully landscaped. Our hosts, Pam and Ted, were helpful and great to work with. There is a sign over the kitchen sink that reads "it doesn't get better than this", which really summed up our experience. We will definitely be back.

This is a fabulous property. The owners provided easy access and detailed information and instructions about the house. They were available by phone to answer any questions. Ram’s Hill is a gated community and the house has a great view of the Borrego Springs area.
If you find you’re lacking an item, it probably is something that hasn’t been invented. This home has everything you could possibly need to enjoy your stay.
