Amazing staff, location, and facilities

Breakfast was very good, the beach was near the hotel, you can go walking, and the room was clean and comfortable. We liked it very much. fully recommended the hotel.

Grounds were beautiful; amazing pool for relaxing swim in the evening (no restricted hours for use!!) We enjoyed a free yoga class on our first day. Food at the restaurant was excellent. Short walk to the surfing beach. Couldn't ask for more.

Wifi was not working in our room the first day, but as soon as we mentioned it, the staff reset the router and fixed the issue.

Really amazing staff who make you feel so welcome and want to make sure you have a great stay and that you’re comfortable. Special thanks to Juan Carlos who is super helpful and cheerful always. This place just has such a great vibe because of its people who work there. Food is delicious. Rooms are very clean and comfy. The property is very stylish and well taken care of. Yoga and Bachata classes are available for free. Few minutes walk to Encuentro Beach, perfect if you like to surf.

Beautiful days spent at El Encuentro, very friendly staff specially Maria and Daniel Thet made my stay really confortable and helped out with my requests. The place is very nice decorated with a nice atmosphere, surf beach is just a couple of minutes away walking. absolutely recommended!

The staff was super nice and friendly from the beginning. We stayed only one night, but managed to arrive on the evening they had yoga, so got to stretch as well. The overall vibe is super chill there, they have towels by the pool ready, so no need to worry about having to get it.. can go swimming right after breakfast 😄 We stayed in one of the bungalows, so we actually had a second pool as well. Very good to get a late night/early morning swim. The ocean is also a few steps away, if you wanna go surfing.

The only con was the bed. It was a bit too hard for our preference, so didn’t get the best sleep and back was hurting a bit in the morning.

The lodge is simply perfect! Location, service, rooms, restaurant are impeccable!

Great stylish place which only a short scroll away from the surf beach that is still had the „old Cabarete“ atmosphere. Very friendly and helpful staff, great food!
