View from the room

The hotel has fallen into utter disrepair. Although the view from the room is nice, the windows appear to have not been washed in at least a year. There was a spider on the curtain as we entered. Also at arrival the AC wasn't working. The whole premise seems to have not experienced a renovation in two generations. It also does not give the cleanest impression. Pricing is completely inappropriate.

The view! Dinner was fresh with great sashimi. The amount was just enough for us to go on a stroll to the neighboring convenience store to get some dessert. The Japanese breakfast was great too. The room was large enough for 2ppl. Bed, table, TV and lounging area positioned comfortably. Bathroom was roomy enough. There's a dvd player in the room and dvds you can rent for free in the rack near reception. There are not many titles but, useful in the night or on a rainy day. We arrived at Onjuku Station via the special rapid train, Wakashio from Tokyo Station. The location of the hotel was approximately 15min by walk. Siteseeing points are limited if you don't have a car but, if you're there to rewind for a day, the long stroll on the beach would occupy your day. Was perfect for us! Dog friendly hotel too.

Our room was on the 3F. It was great you could view the sea whilst lying in bed but it did make us wonder whether the dog walkers and surfers could see us too. If they had privacy screens that would allow us to look out clearly but won't allow others to look in, I would've felt more comfortable. The room did allow us to feel 90% free though ;)

Front desk didnt budge on the check in of 3pm. Rooms were obviously available. As stated its Japanese bedding and you will sleep literally on the floor. If u have a bad back or physical problems dont use that hotel. Its seconds from the beach so location is good. A few restaurants are within walking distance.
