Clean, tidy, you can order takeaway from bistro and bring back to room.

Furnishings dated and the railing of one stairwell was compromised. Facilities about to undergo refurbishment.

Basic but very good stay. Beds were so soft and comfortable. Such a beautiful spot next close to everything. Staff were lovely and went out of their way to help, especially the reception staff.

Just missing a hair dryer and microwave in the room but this wasn’t a big deal.

The staff were welcoming and wonderful.

The light shine through window onto bed at night from above vanity resulting in not being able to sleep and buying a sheet to cover the window. Shower was terrible and we were not able to wash.

The excellent friendly staff. Room needed a makeover but was comfortable and clean.

Our request for early check in did not happen. I was prepared for that but found that we were one of the three remaining rooms to be cleaned and it had not even been started when we arrived at 2pm. I understand being busy ( I was a hotel cleaner many years ago and managed a resort) But I feel the request was forgotten or ignored and even after I rang as was suggested to me when I made the initial enquiry, on the trip there, they could have prioritized it then, but instead it was left til last.

Easy walk to bar.

Wifi was a bit slow. Pillows were better than last time. One decent pillow.

Great location, pub and Bottlo on site, great restaurant and kid friendly

Didn't like that fact that there was no privacy in the bathroom they could at least hang a shower curtain

when I tried having a shower last night there was no hot water. I ran the water for quite a long time waiting for the hot water to come through with no luck. No beside tables.

For a quick overnight stay, this motel would suit most travellers who do not care about mod-cons etc. Hotel next door has good, cold beer and very passable meals. The attached bottle shop also is a bonus.

The building is dated and aged and very musty. Old style air-conditioner very noise. Bathroom definitely needs updating.

Shower need repair

My partner and I stayed here on the way back to Melbourne, it was affordable had working hot water and Netflix! Bed was comfy and despite the furniture and decor being quite dated, was clean enough. Not too far from the big mango and beaches.

I’d say it was closer to a roadhouse or motel, but was happy with it none the less.
