Die White Oak Lodge wurde 2017 erbaut und ist unser zweites Zuhause. Wir hoffen, dass es Ihnen genauso gefällt wie uns! Der Frühling bietet Blüten und Möglichkeiten zum Angeln, der Sommer ist voll von Outdoor-Aktivitäten, faulen Seetagen und üppigem Grün, der Herbst ist voller Farben und Nächte am Feuer, und der Winter zeigt die rustikale Schönheit und die wunderschönen Wasserfälle der Region. Unsere Luxuskabine bietet alles, was Sie für einen perfekten Aufenthalt benötigen. Wunderschöne Landschaft und Privatsphäre können mit dem Klang und Anblick von White Oak Creek direkt unter dem Deck genossen werden. Mit mehr als 200 m Bachfront können Sie das ganze Jahr über direkt auf dem Grundstück nach einheimischen Forellen fischen.
Die Kabine verfügt über 2 Hauptschlafzimmer mit TV im Zimmer; Eines mit eigenem Bad und das andere mit Bad direkt vor der Schlafzimmertür mit Waschmaschine und Trockner. Es gibt auch ein Wohnzimmer und ein Loft, beide mit Schlafsofas und Fernseher / DVD-Player für Ihre Unterhaltung. Die Küche ist voll ausgestattet mit allen Küchenutensilien, die Sie zum Kochen Ihrer Lieblingsmahlzeit benötigen. Genießen Sie ein Glas Wein, ein gutes Buch oder ein Gespräch mit Freunden am gemütlichen Gaskamin auf der Terrasse mit Blick auf White Oak Creek. Außerdem gibt es unten am Bach eine Holzfeuergrube und Stühle, um die Natur hautnah zu erleben oder eine Partie Maisloch zu spielen. Die maximale Kapazität der Kabine beträgt 4. This is the 3rd time we have stayed at this property, and it is by far one of our favorite vacation rentals. Our family of 5 had plenty of room and the property is exactly as advertised. We spent hours down by the creek and on the upper patio with the gas fire pit. We will definitely be back!

Perfect stay for the perfect time of year. Great for fishing, tubing for kids, beverages by the fire, front porch coffee and sound of running stream! We loved this place. Only negative thing to say is wifi wouldn’t work for the toddler. But was easily occupied by the fishing and tubing. We left a tube behind in hopes someone else can find the same amount of enjoyment!

Clean, comfortable and cozy! Coffee on porch listening to the water rush by below in the mornings and lounging around the fire pit in the evenings. Great property with a few extra perks. The power in surrounding area went out in the middle of the night but this property has a power generator that kicked on automatically so we never missed a beat. Also, an acoustic guitar for those who know how to play which my son enjoyed strumming. And a corn hole set to play. My daughter said it’s the most comfortable bed she has ever slept in. Amazing property to get away and unplug.

Had a week long stay at White Oak River Cabin and it was hands down the most wonderful family vacation experience! The Cabin had everything we could possibly need, so clean, very modern cozy feel, and oh my gosh the linens and bath towels were an absolute dream! We loved the outdoor living space and spent the most time down by the river and fire pit. We will most definitely be returning! Thank you for being the BEST hosts!!!

This cabin was absolutely perfect for our Thanksgiving getaway. We enjoyed the area and the river rushing by in front of the cabin and the fire pit on the covered pavilion porch. We spent more hours at the cabin than we did visiting the area which is a first for us, we will absolutely go back again and recommend this for anyone who wishes to get away to a beautiful location in a beautiful gorge. Contact with the property manager was spot on and there were no surprises whatsoever. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip.

Everything about this place was spot on. Favorite part is how far away it was from the road as well as the private entrance as well as the fire pit down by the river but options to use the gas logs on the porch if it’s raining. Will definitely be back

White Oak Lodge is a beautifully designed and appointed cabin, perfect for a family vacation or a couple’s getaway! The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you might need. The bedrooms are lovely and incredibly comfortable. The house was spotless, and Laura, our host, was easy to contact and very helpful. The location is also perfect. You are a short ride from whitewater rafting on the Nantahala, thirty minutes or less from Bryson City, NC, and twenty minutes from Andrews, NC and a grocery store. As other reviewers have said, though, bring lots of groceries, because when you get to White Oak Lodge, you will not want to leave.
You will find yourself relaxing in front of the fireplace in the vaulted living room or listening to the rush of the creek creek by the fire pit on the large porch. It’s an easy walk down to the stream that runs in front of the house. If you fly fish, White Oak Lodge is a great option for you!
We would give six stars if we could! We will definitely be back!

The rental property was great! The property is secluded and has all amenities needed plus access to the creek. Definitely a place to bring the family for a secluded getaway in the Nantahala gorge. Plenty of information about places to see/go in the area if you want to make an outing, but sitting around the fire and just hanging out around the house is just as inviting too.

I booked this cabin because I always wanted to vacation in the Nantahala Gorge. This turned out to be amazing, this cabin is remote and feels like you are in a mountain wonderland. Everything you can possibly need is at this cabin and the hosts do an amazing job of making sure of it. Very clean and the property it sits on is simply incredible. Me and my wife spent every evening by one of the firepits (porch or next to the river) and I spent several hours per day fly fishing the Upper Nantahala! We visited the NOC several times and explored many other mountain towns which are a close drive away. We've loved this area for many many years and if you are thinking about staying here, book it now because you won't be disappointed. We are looking forward to our next trip back already. We stayed here for our wedding at Nantahala Wedding Venues and it was nothing short of perfect! The cabin was clean and gorgeous, the outside and surrounding area of the property was perfect. Hosts communication was excellent and they even left us a thoughtful gift for our wedding! The only downside at all is no cell service but the landline phone works just fine! Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect location and set up for our family of 4! The house was beautiful and had everything needed for our stay. The outdoor spaces were wonderful. We stayed on the porch every night by the fire pit and listened to the rush of the creek. Will definitely rent again when we visit the area!

Let me tell you this is the most beautiful home /property we’ve stayed at. Felt like home and I wish we had booked another night just to enjoy the cabin and private river area more!
Would not recommend for motorcycles because of the driveway , however, for an amazing stay with just me and my husband we might risk it because we love our bike and the cabin is worth a try

Outstanding property owners have done an excellent job on the interior and outside the best cabin we have ever stayed in very relaxing inside or out on the deck listening to white oak creek and walking down to the sitting area at the water my favorite was sitting on the deck with the fire pit early in the morning with my coffee listening to the birds and the sound of the water we would definitely love to spend more time at your cabin the Waddells and Wells family

This is our second time at this beautiful property. I just cannot say enough good things. It is nestled just above the most beautiful creek. The views from the porch are amazing. We have loved the amenities. The house is beautiful with comfortable bedding. It is situated in the perfect location for so many adventures, both outdoor and inside. We went to the Nantahala Outdoor Center. We hiked. Then one night we went to the casino. We absolutely will be coming back. It is just lovely in every way. The hosts are so gracious, and always check in before we arrive. If you want a great mountain getaway… STAY HERE!

We can’t say enough about our visit! The cabin is stellar, the property is amazing and the owners are wonderful! There is much outdoor activity nearby, but the property, Creek and cabin are the best! Bring plenty of food and there is no reason to leave! We booked a return visit as we were leaving! The owners have thought of everything to make the cabin feel like a home away from home! Perfect get away to disconnect and unwind. We enjoyed fishing at the property and along the Nantahala. So nice inside and outside that it was hard to decide where to spend our time! Everything you would need in a rental was provided.
