the amenities are a bit poor for „superior level“ (paper cups in the room, little and bad smelling soap..) could be improved...

Our room was a little small but we had all of the necessities and a great ocean facing view with big windows for fresh ocean air. The breakfast was very good with a great selection of options to choose from, and you could choose to eat inside or outside on the boardwalk terrace which was very nice. The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful. We rented two of their bikes for a day of cycling around the island....very convenient and made for a very pleasant day of sightseeing. The location is fantastic, situated right on the boardwalk, feet from the ocean. Ample free parking is available on the road in front. We had dinner one night. I had the lamb entree and my husband had the fish of the day. Both were excellent!! We were very happy with our three night stay and would not hesitate to recommend Le Homard Bleu!!

We had no complaints, but for those with accessibility/mobility issues there is no elevator. Our room was on the second floor, easily accessible by short staircase.

Well located. Very comfortable room. We took breakfast and dinner outside, just in front of the Petite Plage. Very good breakfast, good quality and variety of products. Dinner was excellent too! I totally recommend this place!

The rooms were very clean and the beds were extremely comfortable, I slept really well. the check-in process was quick and the staff were really helpful and friendly and had good English which was great for us as we only speak a little French. The hotel is a little out of the village but the location is lovely on the beach front and there are nice places to walk nearby, the walk into the village is about 20 minutes which was fine.

Nothing, everything was great

This is a hotel that reflects the values of a family-owned business. Flexible, caring, personal attention. The location is exceptional and quiet.

Nobody can foresee the exceptional high temperatures… but we missed a little bit of air conditioning or other means of fighting the heat in de room. Our standard room was also rather small to the limits of being comfortable.

Positioning and view are really great, hotel and rooms look nicer on the pictures, island and other restaurants at the beach are really special in a positive manner

The behavior of the restaurant guys was difficult. Obviously they were short on the famous Lobster and told us that this is not available any more, anyway that we have asked for this in the afternoon after having arrived. But some others guests, seemingly friends of the staff got this, although came later, but still and longer. Yes, they apologized for this and admitted it, but we got the very clear smell, that at the Le Hommard Bleu there a "friends & guests" and just paying guests.... So if you happen to be part of the first team, could be nice, but so it is not acceptable.

The room was really tiny ( 13 m2 ) and not air-conditioned. Temperature was in the 30 degrees celsius

Perfect location with a room with seaview. Easy accessible parking behind the hotel.

Distance to city center is about 1.2 km, but no real issue. The hotel has no airco (but the room has a good ventilator).

Good coffee, average croissants, good cereals and fresh fruit juice. Able to change rooms from second floor to first floor, as wife has asthma. Helpful, no fuss.

Restaurant was closed first night and only open for snacks on Wednesday. Thursday chef turned up but very limited range. More notice of closure would have helped Room was a bit cramped. We would book larger room next time..

The hotel is located on the sea promenade of Saint Trojan, the centre of the village is not too far, but having a car is better. The hotel has a private parking, which is very convenient. Our room was nicely decorated and spacious. There is also a restaurant where we had dinner seated outside, overlooking the sea, very nice location.

The staff was nice and the rules for Covid were followed strictly so we felt safe staying there. The bed was comfortable.

The «standard room» we were given was much smaller than on the pictures. It was so small the bed almost touched the wall of the bathroom. There was no door to the toilet, just a curtain. Not very romantic. It was so overpriced for the size and lack of toilet door. We were so disappointed.
