Villas was big, clean, and comfortable for 5 of us (3A 2C). Fully equipped kitchen with basic cooking amenities (but must bring your own cooking consumables as no oil, salt, or pepper is provided), washing machine and dryer also made our stay more convenient. There's 2 showers and 2 WC, which is great for families. There's a pool, but the water temperature was too cold for us to use (it's cloudy and windy in December). The 2 bedrooms were large enough for our use (2 single beds in each room), but the tatami room can also be doubled as a 3rd bedroom for larger groups. It's also a short drive to Kouri Island, and driving to the main island is also acceptable to us (e.g. 30 min to Nago Pineapple Park). Overall, we are happy with our stay there.

Location: Villa is located quite far off from even the nearest convenience stores. It's about 10 mins drive to Family Mart, or 20 mins to the nearest supermarket e.g. Max Valu. In December, it gets dark by 6pm. The road is also quite dark at night with little street lights along the way. So strongly advise you to buy some groceries in advance if you plan to cook on your own or don't plan on taking their breakfast sets. Amenities: They only provided 1 dish cloth. Hope they can provide some extra dish cloths or table rags for general cleaning. We ended up using the boxes tissues, which is such a waste. Instructions: Villa provided only basic instructions, especially not to overset the water heater. Apart from that, we have to figure out how to operate or use Google Translate on how to use the amenities within the Villa. Would be helpful if there is some basic information provided in English (e.g. how to operate the lights in the living room, dryer, stove, water heater).

The location was quite and peaceful. The kids were able to enjoy the pool during the day and we loved walking along the water while looking at the stars. The place was clean. The breakfast was an adventure we loved to see all the new items to try daily.

Always a great retreat

The breakfast was mixture of American and Japanese food. It was a generous portion and it was delicious. The breakfast was delivered to our door every morning by the staff. Anyone who knows me, knows I am a very finicky traveler, I spend days looking for the right accommodations. When I arrive, I expect the lodging to match the advertisement. Coldio Pool & Villas Sumuide met my standards. The villa was wonderful; nice and spacious. The kitchen was well equipped, having a washing and dryer on site was awesome, but the best part of our stay was having access to our own pool. We really enjoyed our stay.

The bedrooms were a little small, but we were able to overlook that; the villa had a large living room/dining area, a tatami room and a patio area around THE POOL. More than enough space.

Breakfasts were huge and delicious. Location and size of villas are huge as well. It's all about the pool. Benjamin Burger next door, yummy. Kouri Shrimp delivers. No need to bring food.

We got lucky with the Plage 2 unit...we didn't know there are 2 units with direct beach access so that was awesome.

Great amenities. Pool was perfect.

Would prefer a coffee machine in the rental.

Villa is a high standard that will be suitable for most people in this price range. Pool, electrical appliances, beds and furniture are all quite new and good quality. Very clean and well presented. We were really impressed.

Basically nothing, it had everything we thought it would have.

More space for two cars - could only park one care in a two car garage. Rented a BBQ grill- grill was rectangle metal grill, the burner beneath was a round one, do only could cook in the center. Grill cleaning supplies was not provided for a two day rental, pillow was hard and beaded on one side. Property floor was not thoroughly vacuumed/cleaned - had stuff stuck on the bottom of my feet the first time I walked through, they did have a vacuum cleaner, I had to vacuum the entire property. Need to install a bug zapper-there was just too many mosquitoes, flies, etc
