It was a family run business that had the best service ever. They were super friendly and were there for anything you needed. The meals were exceptional and plentiful. We can’t say enough about this place!

perfect for visiting Plitvice lakes

Very accomodating staff: we got offered another room (equivalent standard) at another hotel since the one we had booked had a shower problem. We were given a lift to the new place and even got breakfast offered as a compensation, very much appreciated!

We checked in to a family run business and were treated as family - great dinner, great rooms and great breakfast - what more could you ask for. The family running the lodge were very attentive to our needs and we did not have to ask for anything twice - well done. Don't let the name Rustic fool you or concern you, this is a much a five star as anything we have stayed at. Service - Great - Clean Rooms - Great, Friendly Staff - Great

The rooms were very cozy, the staff was friendly, the breakfast was nice. If you have a car the location is perfect - just outside the main tourist area but still really close to the lakes. Would definitely stay here again!

Breakfast was a bit expensive compared to prices in the region (although it was very nice!!). Also, by foot it can get a bit complicated to get around so it’s a better place to stay with a car (but the owners were very nice and even drove us to the bus stop when we left)

We were running late due to the transport problems but it wasn’t a problem for the owner who waited for us and even picked us up from the local bus station. Room had everything we could wish for and the bed was the comfiest thing my son and I had slept in for a while. Both owners very helpful and knowledgeable about area attractions. Breakfast was another thing we were very happy about as well as location from which we had no problems of visiting National Park even though we were without car. All in all great place which we would highly recommend and visit again.

Room is very clean. Hosts (Mia and her husband) are very friendly. They work hard in setting up the breakfast area nicely by 7 am. Location is perfect for visiting Plitvice Lakes National Park.

The family, father and children, took good care of their guests. We enjoyed a really nice homecooked meal and breakfast at correct price!

The family is nice and food was good. The decoration with wood everywhere was pretty.

Maybe provide more practical things: a hand towel, soap in the soap dispenser, a sink that can be closed and opened.

Located in the outskirts of one of the main Plitvicka Lake entrances. The room seemed to be brand new. Everything looked brand new, extremely clean and comfortable. It is a family business with the most visible faces being Mia (the mother), the always helpful Isabella and Sara. The food is great! Breakfast is diverse and tasty. Parking is always available and is free of charge.

Great location to the park and nice breakfast(13 euros each although originally quoted as 8 euros the night before) in the morning. Bed and pillows were comfy.
