Great meals, pool, walking trails, location
4.5
Totally off the grid for power and water, both of which have been successfully developed to cope well for the requirements of guests. The 4 cabins are well designed and built, providing privacy and a lovely outlook to the rainforest which rises up the mountains beyond in full view. Ideally located (centrally?) to enable ready access further up to Cape Tribulation, some wonderful rainforest and beach walks.
4.5
Very nice bungalows
Good food prepared for your need at breakfast and dinner
Very eco friendly with a great host
Located in the forest
Free bike
Bit remote but food is served on site with good wines

Nice and relaxing spot and great host

Room was large and bed was comfortable. Very peaceful staying in the rainforest. Very friendly owner. Breakfast was great!
1.5
The breakfast was grudgingly supplied, and it seemed the “chef” didn’t know how to make toast. The fruit salad was good.
The location was kilometres from any attraction and we could not recommend eating on-site. We had one dinner sitting in the dark, because “light attracts the critters.” The venue was poorly laid out, poorly landscaped, and even the lap-pool was uninviting being locked in a cage.
The host seemed to have no concept of hospitality, and it seemed to us we were almost a bother to him. When asked about local attractions our host was simply dismissive of our enquires. However, the cabins were clean, but unfriendly and utterly spartan.
4.5
The cabin was perfect. Very clean & the bed was comfy.
Greg the owner is very friendly & couldn't do enough for us to help make our stay as comfortable as could be.
We would highly recommend to stay here if you're wanting to stay at the Daintree & explore Cape Tribulation.

The two bedroom apartment was very large and fully equipped for self-catering. It is in the centre of Yungaburra with easy access everywhere. Diz, the owner, was extremely helpful, carrying our luggage and doing of laundry free of charge.
Note that the apartment is on the third floor and accessible only by steps. Diz carried up our luggage and brought it down to the car.

Great breakfast, wonderful tropical fruit salad

Beautiful location surrounded by rainforest, close to lots of walks. The host cooked a great breakfast and also a variety of delicious dinners on request. Very comfortable cabin, all solar powered.
I would have liked some cutlery, bowls and a microwave, if you didn’t want to have a cooked meal at night.

This cabin hideaway is very private and intimate with few cabins, and is a great spot to explore the Daintree area from. The rooms are very clean and functional, the beds very comfy. Personal touch by owner cooking dinner and breakfast. Thank you, we‘d stay again!!

location, beautiful setting, quiet
fresh grown fruit for breakfast
-could have a more formal cafe setting/bar area but I think because it was quiet it was different maybe
-TV working would have been a nice touch or just remove it if not wanting to provide that service
-could have provided shower gel/shampoo/conditioner

brilliant breakfasts. cooked to order, fresh fruit salad, eggs anyway you liked. wonderful.

very accessible and in a good position to the Daintree.

The cabin was spacious and comfortable. The location was convenient to other services. The owner made an effort to keep his customers happy.
The description on the website is very misleading
1, kitchenette was not at all equipped and owner made it clear that there was no food preparation or eating permitted in the cabin. (So why have a kitchenette if just to make a cup of tea?)
2. onsite chef is really stretching the imagination
3. licensed cafe open from 10 am - 8 pm which is open to guests and the public. There was nothing resembling a functioning cafe.
4.5
Beautiful location, really clean room and the super soft beds. Environmentally friendly - solar powered and filtered water from the property.

Greg was a great host, he runs a very clean and well maintained set-up.

The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. It was bug-free and the fan and air conditioning worked very well. The water was very hot, which made for a relaxing stay after a long day. Very quiet, and all you can hear is the bird life when you wake up. Magical.
Nothing bad - the location is a little away from Cape Trib town (about 25 minutes drive). A very easy drive, but you do need to have a car to go back and forth.

Me and my wife stayed for two nights. Perfect base to explore the Daintree NP. Quiet surroundings, welcoming and helpful host. The rooms were in excellent condition, clean, and protected from snakes, spiders or mosquitos. AC available in all rooms. The whole facility is self-sustained, with energy coming from solar panels. Clean, potable water. Beds were super comfortable. We enjoyed our stay 100% and absolutely recommend the place!

Best accommodation in Daintree, super clean and welcoming. The owner Greg is a cool engineer who built all the place by himself. This handyman will make you even a great breakfast in the morning letting u try the fruit of the Rainforest too. Really yummy😋
The place is magic and the company of the owner even more, we will surely come back💚
3.5
very clean. Greg, the owner and host, went out of his way for us, cooking a late meal when we were delayed due to bad weather.
could do with a few little guest focussed touches.
4.5
Greg was extremely friendly and accommodating. He is very hospitable and available to assist during the stay. His pumpkin soup is really delicious and made with pumpkin grown on site. Breakfast is included in the stay and he was able to cater to everyone's needs (vegetarian). As he grew different fruit and vegetables on site, he offered and included a different type of banana for us to try with our breakfast. The site is fully ECO friendly and self sustainable. WIfi is available to use. It was a fantastic stay and I will stay again when I visit next time.

Host were welcoming and informative. Great peaceful location with easy access to Daintree/Cape Tribulation area. Tranquil spot.
We booked Daintree Peaks Eco because we expected to prepare and use the accommodation for our own food preparation but kitchenette facilities were for coffee/tea making only.

Great location, great self sustained facilities and great host!
Thanks Greg we’ll be back!!!

Breakfast was average.
Everything else was shocking
This place is terrible.
The owner is rude and aggressive, and impossible to deal with.
There is no internet and no Telstra phone coverage.
The facilities are basic yet the rates are sky high. No wonder we were the only guests there.
The advertisment talks of a "restaurant" called "Greg's cafe" - all there is is a table or two in a shed.
In many years of travelling and staying at booking.com places, this must rate as the worst value I have ever come across
4.5
Beautiful spot, so convenient for all the attractions of the Daintree. Well thought out eco lodge, completely off the grid. Dinner was good too. Loved the wildlife

Very well located. Nice breakfast and coffee.
