The listing on booking.com said it was beachfront NO it is not. Top of the hill It states rooms were sound proof No not at all. Could hear people coughing in the next room The beds were pushed together to create a queen and very uncomfortable TV didn’t work Rooms were very small and no place to place clothes

Top Lage, super freundliches Personal und sehr saubere Zimmer. Tolle Dachterasse mit gutem Ausblick! Für alle perfekt die Albufeira und das Umland erkunden wollen und keinen großen Wert auf luxuriöse Zimmer legen.

Sehr enges Badezimmer. Leider war in unserem Bereich das WLAN defekt und konnte nicht repariert werden.

L’emplacement sans nul doute, l’établissement n’est pas en bord de mer mais notre chambre avait vue sur la mer. J’ai aimé l’établissement à taille humaine. Juste 12 chambres. J’ai aimé l’accueil chaleureux de Guilherme, sa disponibilité , son écoute, la liqueur d’amande et tous les conseils envoyés sur WhatsApp. La gentillesse de la dame des petits déjeuners. Le frigo a disposition qui nous a permis de faire un apéro sur le roof top avec vue sur la mer.

Es un alojamiento sencillo, cumple muy bien

Perfecta localización a un paso de la playa y zona tranquila en la parte antigua. El trato del personal genial, Guilherme nos atendió muy bien y nos dio información muy útil de la zona. Un lugar muy curioso, lleno de obras de arte del dueño y con unas vistas increíbles desde la terraza de arriba. El desayuno muy completo, con dulces típicos y caseros. Volveremos!

Quizá el baño un poco pequeño, pero tampoco fue un gran problema.

La habitación aunque pequeña, muy limpia. Guillermo fue muy amable y atento a todo lo que necesitamos. La ubicación.

La descripción de vista al mar, fue limitada desde la habitación.

The Vila Algarva is a lovely house at the top of the old town in Albufeira. Host Guilherme and concierge Rosanna are both super friendly and welcoming (Guilherme set us up with a small almond liqueur on arrival as we waited for our room to be readied). The rooms are small and basic, but very comfortable with a good bed and a hot shower. The wider house, though, is extremely relaxed and comfortable, with plenty of outdoor seating, drying facilities, and best of all, a wonderful roof terrace where you can watch the sun come up or go down (depending on whether you are a lark or an owl). It was quiet at night, blessed with good Wi-Fi in the room, and the daily breakfast spread was enough even for a gannet such as I (have to resist that third piece of cake...). All in all, a very charming place to stay.

Very minor things really. Some more shelf space in the bathroom for example.

Nice boutique hotel, away from loud streets but walking distance to everything. Beautiful views from the terrace and windows. Very helpful host; good breakfast

Very difficult to find a parking spot if you arrive later in the evening. Had to leave a car far away twice.

Excellent location, close to the beach and the center of the town, pleasant and familiar accomodation. Our host was friendly and helped us a lot in arrival, parking, made suggestions about local trips, cuisine and restaurants. Very pleasant experience overall.

When my partner and I landed at the airport, guilherme kindly sent me a message advising us that if we need any help with directions, we are to let him know. Guilherme sent the location along with restaurant and excursion recommendations. I wouldn't wait long for a response when help was required. He gave us a tour around the apartments and offered us a complimentary welcome drink which was so nice! The view from the roof terrace was stunning, there was even sun loungers up there along with a few tables and chairs. My partner and I would sit up there for an hour or so admiring the view before heading out for the evening.The room exceeded my expectations! It was clean and had a large bed as requested with a spacious bathroom, the shower is great! It's in a nice quiet location, within walking distance to the town centre. The set up for breakfast was lovely, it had a warm homely and calm feeling to the place.

Not really. The room was too small.

The location is good.

The place is overpriced and overrated. The shower was leaking outside the tub, so we had to keep the towel to suck the water, and the damp towel was smelling. The beds were not comfortable. Breakfast was a joke. Last but not least, a quite big cockroach came to say hello in our room.
