Quiet Well appointed interior. No cleaning fee. Allows dogs. Spotless inside. Just a nice place for a retreat. Reasonable. Grounds well maintained! Located near a Stewarts which has marvelous ice cream. Grest communication. Its on the river. Not close to a river. Its on the river.

This property is just what was needed. It is very clean, has everything you need, close to grocery stores and restaurants, and best of all right on a river. The hiking nearby is very plentiful with all levels. We will definitely book again.

Quiet property with rural rustic surroundings. Cabin was perfect for one or two people. Very clean. I came for some hiking and the area provided that. The cabin was very comfortable I would fully endorse this place and the property manager.

Great location, very quiet property. Excellent base of operations for anyone spending time in the lake placid / high peaks / lake Champlain area.

While rustic on the outside, this cabin really has everything needed for a quiet and comfy stay in the Adirondack mountains. We appreciated the kitchen, a/c, info on local hikes, picnic table outside, and the burbling river backdrop. It's a short drive from a town with amenities and close to great hiking and Lake Placid.

The whole process was very smooth and east.

This is one of our favorite stays in the ADK region. The location is secluded and relaxing. Sarah was very helpful and is quick to respond to messages. Can't say enough good things about the experience!

We so enjoyed our stay with our two pups. Visited local waterfalls, wineries and took the ferry to VT where we enjoyed lunch on the lake. Incredibly peaceful, quiet and warm. We will definitely be back!

Location was fabulous, close to hiking and all that we needed. Kitchen had all the essentials and the cabin was very comfortable, we would stay there again!

My husband and dog and I stayed here for a second time in 2 years it was even nicer than the first. Some nice cosmetic touches since our last visit. Cozy and peaceful by the river and still a great base for visits to the peaks and Lake Champlain.

Our family loved the property during our visit, we explored the rivers edge and got to check out the river bed during its low level. All of the games and coloring supplies inside was great and enjoyed by our kids. It's a great close location to town but also very short drives to other areas, Westport, Essex ferry and Lake Placid were a few places we visited.

The river is beyond beautiful. Morning coffee by the river was the best.

My partner and I loved this cabin. It was clean and well-maintained with plenty of cozy spots to lounge inside and out. On the first day we showed up, it had been 95 degrees and at night it only got down to about 75 degrees. Since there's no AC, it was a little tough to sleep. The host provided two fans though that were definitely life savers! The only other thing to consider is the shower is quite small if you're over 6 feet. We still had a wonderful time and it is a beautiful area to stay, we just got a little unlucky with the super hot weather. The host was a great communicator and we felt welcome the moment we stepped inside. Also, very rare to have a host accepting of large dogs. We were able to have our 80 pound dog with us and he enjoyed the river directly outside the house a lot. We would absolutely stay here again but would probably aim for a cooler month next time so we can enjoy the wood stove (and other heating elements) provided!

We would rent it again.

Had a really great experience we hiked high falls gorge fished Lincoln pond the only con is I wished I had known it was going to be such a adventure trying to turn my boat around in the driveway 🤣🤣

Me and my family stayed at this fantastic cabin next to a small river. Upon arrival the owner surprised us with farm-fresh eggs and maple buns! Could not have asked for a better stay!

Had a wonderful time here enjoying the scenery and clean mountain air!

My husband and I stayed at the cottage in July with our 8-year old English Setter. The house was spotless and while the furnishings are not fancy, they were just what we needed. A comfortable bed, nightstands with lights for reading, tables inside and out for eating and playing games, which we did a lot... the list goes on. The spot is well situated for hiking both in the high peaks (too crowded when we went), and near Lake Champlain (lovely and free of other hikers). We visited Lake Placid, too, but mostly enjoyed hanging out in the yard, where we saw otters in the creek and an eagle overhead. It was super easy to access and there weren't a lot of "rules," unlike some other VRBO places we've stayed. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful time! The cabin is cozy and was spotless. Great little spot by the river. The one thing we said would improve the cabin is some stairs going down into the river. Other than that, it was GREAT!

We've stayed in other cabins and found them to be nice and pleasant, but this one had the warmth and charm that was missing in the others. It was clean and welcoming and we did not want to leave. I welcome you to stay and enjoy this warm and enchanting abode as we did and will do again.

Beautiful cabin and location next to a trout stream (saw little brookies near the sand bars.) It's about 20 minutes from the high peaks trailheads, and very close to some nice places to eat (Bub's, Deer Head Inn) in Elizabethtown.

It was a quaint little place and perfect for a nice little getaway. Absolutely amazing and clean. And all the snacks she left for us and farm fresh eggs were delicious!!

We had a great time floating in the river with our tubes and finished our evenings grilling outside and enjoying dinner hanging in the hammock great place to stay for some peace and quiet and it was very easy to get to!

Owners went out for their way to make the stay more enjoyable for us. Would highly recommend.
