Everything! The renovation of the rooms as well as the restaurant/bar that leads to the pool looks amazing and for a moment forget that you’re still in Sydney and not in Mykonos! The outdoor pool was amazing and beautiful. The room was gorgeous and the perfect sizes the bathroom was perfect and so gorgeous! We can’t wait to stay again!!

New carpets and refurbished rooms were clean and funky

The noise from the (almost empty) third floor bar pumped into our room and there was nothing I could do. I was LOUD - house tracks till midnight on Saturday. Less intrusive in Sunday. Really spoilt things for me.

Excellent food and very friendly staff. Merna, Lauren, Lilly, were so friendly and kind. Looked forward to seeing them every morning.

The only highlight was clean pool area and staff. Reception & maintenance staff were pretty clueless on how to help guests who are having such a bad experience during their stay. Location is good with a beach view from the hotel rooms.

Constant maintenance works were being conducted during our stay with loud drilling which caused massive issues for us as we also have a special needs kid &we were also trying to work during our stay there so the loud drilling noise right above the room was not helpful. No option provided to change room/any other assistance to help us get through this. Also there was water supply disruption twice for almost the entire day during our stay which also caused issues for us esp with kids. I request the property to please be transparent with their guests regarding upcoming maintenance works, I would have definitely moved to a different hotel if I had known the extent of works being conducted on the property. The restaurant was also closed due to maintenance so food options were quite limited. Will think twice about returning here for a stay, not worth it.

The view and room were excellent and so was the breakfast buffet.

Cleanliness-carpet was dirty despite housecleaning coming in every day. Random hair in the bathroom and near the tea facilities. Nothing too dramatic but enough to that it was noticeable and disappointing considering the reputation of Novotel.

The buffet breakfast was absolutely amazing, highly recommend the omelets, delicious 😋. The beds were comfortable, and the view was spectacular. Just wished we had more time there as it was just a overnight stay for us. Will be staying there again in future,

The new renovations are amazing 🤩 I love the pool , gym and bar upgrades i cant wait to stay again next year once all the renovations are complete

The staff made me pay a bond of 300 dollars. When there is no policy. Then when we finally gave up, lady nearly made us pay for the room again out of spite

The rooms are lovely. Great shower and very comfortable bed. Breakfast is great and the new bar and pool area is fabulous

Needs to be more family friendly. Spa didn't work and staff did.not make concessions to allow kids to use indoor pool, even when there wasn't a single person in there.

Huge room. King size bed was so comfortable.

The buffet breakfast was very expensive at $45 each. You would have to eat a huge amount to come close to justifying the cost.

Proximity to the airport was great. The renovated areas that were open looked great. Comfortable accommodation. Parking on-site was convenient but seemed expensive

Excellent location and view. Close enough to the CBD. Easy to navigate. Pleasant and helpful staff.

Piped music volume was too high. Audible noise from the street. No cutlery or plates/bowls.

There was a lot of confusion re the rooms., who’s room was who's, when we clearly mentioned our names at the desk as to who had which room. We booked through bookingcom but rooms weren’t as requested and I still had to pay for this. Staff offered to change the bed to make it a 3 bed room, I said it’s ok just leave it but I was expecting this when we arrived not when we got there and it wasn’t done. We were locked out without being informed that we had to re code the key because we had booked an extra night, baring in mind this was done months ago and we even called through to confirm what was happening. Rooms got cleaned but they didnt top up the milk or water bottles to our rooms Meal ordered late one night but we weren’t notified till at least 20 mins after ordering that there wasn’t food. We were under the impression that ithis was 24hr service. No sanitary bags in the bathrooms. And as helpful as the staff tried they were quite confusing on directions. This was quite a stressful time for all of us and not the best experience of Sydney and I truly hope that you can improve in this

Wheelchair accessible room was great, nice view across the bay. The family enjoyed the time in pool, given more time I would have jumped in too. My two girls appreciated the toasted sandwiches at 2am after Tay Tay concert

The pillow, there were lots to choose from, however I should have brought my own. Lesson learnt for next time.

Good value and room was good

Check in at time of booking said 2pm… rang reception day before and they told me it was 3pm check in.. had concert to prepare for and asked for the 2pm check in. They verbally stated that the 2pm check in was okay. Arrived just after 2:30 and then told me we had to wait until 3pm… 3pm came and went and was grumpily told to wait for another 15min as “the system was down”Total wait time 45min. Not a good start to the night…

I loved the facilities. Overall there was so much to do at the hotel, you didn’t want to leave. The indoor heated pool was my highlight and the sauna. The food and room service was also amazing. It was immaculate, one of the cleanest hotels I have ever stayed at and the staff were all so lovely.

Honestly only a few negatives, firstly there was some construction that woke us up as 8am on the Friday. Secondly, I have a back injury and use a heat pack quite regularly but there was no microwave. This made it hard to bring your own food. We also didn’t have cutlery or a toaster..

The room was very clean and bed was comfy, awesome view and the new facilities are awesome

Nothing to complain about

I loved the new fresh look, the room was large and comfortable, the views were epic, gym was so good and the brekki buffet was outstanding and accomodating to all. The staff were very hospitable and I will definitely be back this year.

My room had a lot of stains to carpet and scuffing to walls, the cold shower tap was broken and the toilet seat had alot of staining on it.

It was under restoration and we didn’t know till we got there so we were disappointed

Hotel room was dirty, furniture was old and ragged aircon was weak and the balcony was full of cobwebs the door to the verandah keept getting stuck and the outdoor furniture was 2 dirty plastic chairs. I have stayed at the novotel before and i must say this was the worst experience ive had at such a reputable hotel.

We were on level 7. Old, stale smell in room, old furnishing, mould in the bathroom sink and shower and areas of ? Damp in the room.
