Absolutely lovely spot, the staff was great and we felt so welcome. They were also very accommodating with our dog. Plus, breakfast was delicious.

The place & the nature

I think the stuff was really nice and you could see that they really like their job and take it serious. I felt like they really cared about if I feel comfortbale or not.

The walls were thin, that's why you could hear everything what people watched on TV etc. I have been woken by the sun daily, because they just had curtains and no louvred blinds.

You couldn't ask for a friendlier place to stay! Nothing is too much trouble for the owners, who even provide a daily newsletter giving information about local events, which restaurants are open etc. The location is quiet, and you can easily walk into town along the river, or the other way to Grundlsee. Buses into Bad Aussee stop close by, as does the local "Narzissenjet" (an on-request bus service). The rooms have been recently renovated, and were regularly cleaned during our six day stay. There's plenty of choice both at breakfast time and from the restaurant menu (for lunch and evening meals).

The room is touch up with some woods, giving the room a very warm feeling, especially my stay was in winter time! And I’d missed my last bus to the gasthof, fortunately I called them and they’re managed to pick me up on the side of a street, even with some language barrier ☺️ thanks a lot 🤩😚

A delightful little hideaway. Wonderful staff, very friendly and helpful. Spacious room, cost and very comfortable. Undercover outdoor dining area a great place to mix with other travelers. Highly recommend... would have stayed a few more nights if time allowed
