The location is second to none, very accessible to many nearby attractions, a metro line, and the boardwalk. The whole place was very clean and tidy, albeit aging. Lots of amenities we didn’t even have time to enjoy. Comfortable sofa, a firm mattress, and cozy pillows. A Starbucks right downstairs for your morning coffee. Free parking too!

Several problems. The parking lot has the sharpest right turn to get into it I think I’ve ever seen, but that’s hardly the hotels fault. But the lack of signage in the garage, to the designated parking, is something they could fix. During check-in, the hotel staff first doing our registration didn’t even bother doing anything; a second staff member had to step in to do it. During that time, I could see in the reflective tile behind the counter that the first employee was in the middle of playing a game on the computer. A little unprofessional, I would think. That same employee would also snicker whenever he saw us walk past. An unfriendly atmosphere caused us to avoid the place as much as possible. Secondly, I paid extra for a sea view. With the difference in price, I would have expected what I paid for. Utter disappointment with the view: you could only see a small glimpse of the sea and only then if you stood in the corner right next to the window. Otherwise all you could see was the city. A nice view, but not the one I paid (extra) for. Thirdly, the door sometimes would not shut. The closing mechanism was gummed up or would stick when it was being closed, thereby not letting the door latch closed unless jiggled first. There was also a major crack in the door right above the bolt, as if someone in the past had forced their way in, and the hotel just painted over the crack. While I didn’t have any reason to worry, I didn’t exactly feel safe and secure during my stay at the hotel. Also, the lamp shades had questionable stains on them, but thankfully the bed was clean.

I liked almost everything about it. The location was amazing at the heart of the city - every facility available in a walk downstairs, view from the room amazing, the staff - very helpful and courteous, rooms clean and nice. Especially a comfortable stay if you have a baby. The major tourist attractions within walking distance or 15 mins drive.

May be the entrance or finding the reception. Very difficult if you get down from a taxi with luggage to find the reception located at 2nd floor. Breakfast was ok, wish the variety was more.
