Good location, nice staff, well maintained, nice pool, very good breakfast. Top score all over from me, and I have stayed in numerous hotels and resort in Thailand.

Room was fine, although some of the fixtures and fittings need upgrading. The location is good. The view from the pool and breakfast area is beautiful. The balcony was big and comfortable.

The pool is tiny, much smaller than it looks in the photos, and adults cannot swim. Most of the fixtures are old and need replacing, like the loose taps, showers and old safes. Reception closes at 6pm. Guests must pay in cash, or face a 4% surcharge for bank fees (this is usually included in the price). Nothing is free: water from the minibar must be paid for; and even a second cup of coffee or a (not) fresh orange juice at breakfast, though nobody mentioned it until I was leaving. The proprietor can be a bit gruff with guests who prefer not to speak German. I stayed over Xmas and extended my stay over the New Year, but had to move to the identical room next door because apparently my room was booked...? And 5500 ThB per night for a three star at New Year seemed very expensive. Will definitely go elsewhere next time.

The staff was sincere and kind. Very down to earth.

Overall enjoyable experience.

Top Resort is a great Resort - access to the sea and short walking distance to the White Sand Beach with plenty of attractions. The Resort owner cares about the guests, a great host and great hospitality
