Kamers waren geweldig. Service was super. Safari top geregeld. Zwembad schoon en heerlijk. Werden ontvangen met een koud drankje. Personeel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ontbijt prima. Veel ook!

Everything you need. Spacious room, nice pool. Very friendly staff. They arrange trips and reserved two seats on a shuttle to our next stop Kandy.

A bit far away from the main road, but still ok. There were no black out curtains, so there is a lot of light in the room in the morning. However, this is not unusual in Sri Lanka..

Super accomodatie met uitzicht op de lion rock en een zwembad om tot rust te komen na de klim, heerlijk. Het personeel was ook super aardig! Zij hebben voor ons een safari in het NP geregeld waar wij heel veel olifanten zagen, ook brachten zij ons om 5uur in de ochtend naar de Pidurangala Rock, we hadden een eigen TukTuk maar het was veiliger om gebracht te worden ivm de wilde olifanten. Heel fijn verblijf gehad!

The hotel was in a great location if you're looking to go to Lion's Rock (it's a short walk which we did first thing in the morning to make it up for sunrise), also with great views out of your bedroom window. But the best thing about our stay was the staff, everyone was really friendly and attentive. In particular, Sanath went above and beyond to support us, always with kindness and a smile on his face.

O quarto era ótimo e espaçoso. Os funcionários foram todos super simpáticos, sempre prontos a ajudar e ainda nos arranjaram carro para ir até Kandy a um preço bastante bom. Ajudaram também a agendar um Safari que gostamos imenso. O cozinheiro era super simpático, muito divertido e sempre pronto a ajudar. A piscina era ótimo e com uma bela vista para a Lion Rock. Recomendo sem dúvida!

Best view in Sigiriya! Nice pool, delicious local breakfast, powerful AC, very comfy beds, super friendly staff and owner, helped us and gave us a lot of tips about our activities. Highly recommended!

Die Freundlichkeit, die Hilfsbereitschaft, dass Essen, alles super. Touren können auf Anfrage organisiert werden. Es ist schön ruhig, die Betten sind bequem. Das alles waren auch die Gründe, hier zu buchen.

Das es kaum Möglichkeiten gab, sich bequem im Schatten irgendwo hinzusetzen. Die Vorhänge waren etwas dreckig. Es gibt keine Moskitonetze, aber reichlich Moskitos. Es gibt keine Möglichkeit drinnen zu essen.

We only stayed one night and left very early, but the hotel was lovely. The room really comfortable and clean. We didn’t eat or drink at the hostel, but the bar/restaurant looked nice. The pool is quite small but clean with a good view of Sigiriya. It is a little distance from the main road

The hosts were very friendly and eager to please. They accommodated every request. Location couldn’t be better.

Der Blick auf den Royal Rock vom Zimmer aus ist sensationell schön! Die Mitarbeiter sind freundlich und sehr bemüht. Essen war köstlich. Wir haben jeden Abend dort gegessen - hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Pool war stets sauber und erfrischend.

Der Ausblick vom Balkon auf den Lion Rock und die Reisfelder ist einmalig! Der Pool lädt zum relaxen ein, es herrscht eine entspannte Atmosphäre und die Zimmer sind groß und sauber. Auch die Mitarbeiter sind sehr hilfsbereit.

We had a fabulous stay at the royal rock. It is in a great location with the view of the Lion’s rock from the balcony, only a 5 minute tuk tuk to the rock and Pidurangala royal cave temple. The hosts are the most lovely, welcoming and friendly people, they made are stay just perfect. We ate breakfast and dinner here and it was the best kottu I’ve had in Sri Lanka!!

The rooms and facilities were clean and comfortable, and good view of Sigiriya from balcony of our room. Also had AC in room which was appreciated. The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and accommodating, and able to provide advice regarding local tourist spots.

No shower curtains therefore the bathroom would get a bit wet during showering, but bathroom was still spacious enough to keep clothes in a dry area.

We hadden al contact gehad met de eigenaar voordat we naar Colombo vlogen. Hij heeft een taxi laten komen (voor een zeer goede prijs). Bij aankomst stond de chauffeur al te wachten. Bij aankomst een welkomstdrankje en we konden gelijk de kamer in. Fijn bed, goede douche. Om 05:00 wilden we naar de rots om deze te beklimmen, tuk tuk stond al klaar. We hadden voor 2 nachten geboekt, maar wilden na 1 nacht toch door naar de volgende stad. Dit was geen probleem en hoefden maar voor 1 nacht te betalen. Hij heeft ook een taxi geregeld naar Kandy. Ontbijt was super lekker!

Was iets buiten het centrum, maar wel lekker rustig.

Goed personeel, aardig en zeer behulpzaam! Ook beschikken ze over een eigen tuktuk die je overal heen kan brengen!

The comfort of green rice fields. Sigiriya Rock can be seen clearly from the accommodation. The accommodation was very basic but not uncomfortable. We stayed for 3 nights, the water worked fine and the electricity went out once. I ate breakfast and dinner at the hotel every day and lunch at a village restaurant, and the skills of the hotel chef ‘Saranggu’ seemed to be the best in Sigiriya. We were very surprised. I liked the feeling of traveling to the countryside. The village scenery and people were very nice. I also want to see the big, gentle dog ‘Roxy’. And there is a tuk-tuk selling bread that comes in front of the accommodation every morning and evening.

Vista pazzesca su Lion’s Rock. Tranquillità del posto. Possibilità di mangiare a qualsiasi orario, con piatti buoni ad un prezzo ottimo. Staff sempre disponibile. Camera spaziosa con una bella vista sulla piscina e panorama.

Le personnel était vraiment génial, le cuisinier est adorable, le manager aussi. L’emplacement est idéal au milieu des rizières et proches dès différentes commodité. La vue sur le lion’s Rock est juste incroyable. Merci encore ne changez rien.

Habitación amplia, cómoda y limpia. Algún bichito en el baño pero normal teniendo en cuenta el sitio en el que estás. Desayuno rico y personal amable.

No tuve problema pero entiendo que para alguna persona la ubicación puede ser un problema porque se accede por un camino de tierra que si llueve es difícil de transitar.

C'était juste parfait Vue magnifique sur les rizières, louez absolument des vélos pour aller pédaler au milieu des rizières. Personnel au petit soin. Piscine détente. Lit confortable. Vraiment génial

Le dîner est assez simple et moins goûtu que les restaurants alentours, mais tout de même très pratique et peu cher !

Sin duda, lo mejor de todo es el personal ¡Son encantadores! Siempre con una sonrisa, disponibilidad absoluta y con el mejor trato. Nos encantaron los desayunos y las cenas. La ubicación es excelente, puedes ver Royal Rock desde la terraza. Un entorno precioso con unas instalaciones muy agradables ¡¡¡mil gracias por todo amigos!!!

A very pleasant hotel with a nice location and a view of the rice fields and Lion rock. The rooms are spacious, the AC works well. The pool is great. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They arranged all the necessary transportation for us. The breakfasts are prepared perfectly, the chef personally talks to the guests. The husband fell ill and the chef proved to be a doctor too - he prepared inhalations for him and made healing with Ayurvedic tea. Thanks again!

This place is near Sigirya rock so it's very convenient to wake up, climb the rock and be back to rest. The staff was courteous and prepared the food as per our taste.

The geyser is ineffective. The open dining area invites a lot of flies. This should be worked upon. The menu options are very limited.

Die Lage ist einfach traumhaft und beeindruckend, ein toller Blick auf den Rock, und die Reisfelder. Auch die Naturgeräusche waren sehr schön.

Der Ausblick in dieser Unterkunft ist einmalig. Mit Blick vom Balkon auf den Lions Rock konnte diese Unterkunft direkt punkten. Das ist allerdings nicht alles, umringt von Reisfeldern liegt die Unterkunft an einem ruhigen Feldweg, wo man ständig Tiere beobachten kann. Die Hausherren dieser Unterkunft sind super herzlich und das Frühstück und Abendessen waren spitze. Wir haben wirklich eine tolle Zeit hier gehabt. Der Inhaber hat aber direkt zu Anfang gewünscht, dass wir Cash bezahlen, daher sollte genug Bargeld dabei sein.

People there were amazing, the manager tried his best to really make a wonderful stay and get the best prices for all the sights around, the pool was great, also the view was amazing, it was a calm and still chill and slightly luxurious vibe, the manager was always there in a few minutes when needed.

Food could be a bit more variety and slightly adapted to more healthy, ayurvedic style of cooking, but apart from that it was good and even the chef tried to adapt his style of cooking to our wishes.
