Ideal house for a family vacation. Beautiful 3 story house with views of the water on each floor. House was very clean upon arrival.

We had a wonderful stay in Beaufort and the house was everything we could have wished for!! Check in was clear and easy, the space was wonderful and the porches were thoroughly enjoyed! We arrived from coast to coast for our second summer stay at Kite House. The house works very well for all of us. The two kitchens and living areas along with the number of bedrooms make it ideal for young, old and in between. The AC is terrific, making our August visit very comfortable. Kristen and Bradley are responsive and welcoming. thanks!

We highly recommend this property! We had a family beach week during July 4th.. plenty of room for everyone. The house was very clean, and so nicely decorated. We appreciated the available pack-n-play and high chair for the little one. The views of Taylor’s Creek from the 3rd floor & widows walk are beautiful! We would definitely stay here again.

Location is great as its in walking distance to town (less than one mile). Four levels of decking which we spent the majority of our time enjoying. House is beautifully decorated. Owners live close by, so they quickly respond to inquiries. Very nice couple! The only thing we were not crazy about was the spiral staircase but that is a preference, and we were aware of this in description. We had an older person with us, and they had issues using the spiral staircase. Just mentioning this if you have older and unhealthy people in your group. There is another staircase on the back outside of house from first level to second level but the only was to get to third level is the spiral staircase. Also, a heads up that you need to bring bath soap, shampoo and conditioner as this is not provided.

Our son was getting married and the family stayed in this house. It worked well for us and the owners allowed us to host a breakfast for our of town guests which was so nice. The location is good and there is a nice view from the top floor.

This house is a showstopper! Absolutely beautiful property with more than enough room for a family gathering. The owners have taken great care to ensure a comfortable stay. The home is equipped with everything needed to enjoy your visit: plenty of basic necessities such as towels, sheets, and paper products; plenty of seating inside and outside; smart televisions in the living rooms and bedrooms; and all the household amenities necessary to cook and/or grill. Everything in the house is clean and in working order. It is walking distance to restaurants and other amenities which makes this the perfect place to stay while enjoying everything that Beaufort and the surrounding area has to offer. Highly Recommend!

Great location! Great house, walking distance to Beaufort! Gorgeous views! The host were very friendly and easy to work with! Will definitely stay there again! All bedrooms have TVs. Only negative… 5 of the bedrooms are very small!

The hosts are so nice and quick to respond. Very clean. This property is very walkable to the picturesque downtown and dock area. The home is located across the street from the waterfront with partial water views from the spacious decks. Loved the restaurant recommendations left out for guests. The brick oven pizza was perfect. Internet and cable was great (though, one TV didn’t work in the back bedroom by the laundry room). We were all comfortable and enjoyed a big family Christmas holiday together around the tree that was kindly provided. It was nice to have a highchair for the infant with some games to entertain him. Beds come with two pillows per person. When we lost power due to high winds, the hosts came to check in on our family. Duel floor temp control was a plus. Two kitchens was a very convenient feature as well. Lots of parking for approx 8-9 cars. The youngest were in the loft. my siblings and spouses on the second floor, and grandparents and aunt and uncle stayed on the ground floor. Some of the older family members said it was a little loud at times with the open plan loft, and hearing footsteps overhead (I used earplugs), but that’s all part of the adventure with a large group. It was helpful for the older people have a more quiet place stay on the first floor. It was a little tough for some to use the spiral stairs, but you get used to it. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you so much!

We came for three nights as a company retreat. Beautiful house, location, and the owners are wonderful. Highly recommend.

Lovely home for our 50 year Friends Anniversary. Outdoor seating areas were perfect. Great location to town, basically never moved cars. Walked every where. Owners were great to work with. You won’t regret staying at the Kite House!

We throughly enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean. Eleven adults stayed there and there was ample room for everyone. Communication with the owners was through and fast. The location was within walking distance to town. We would definitely stay here again. It rained the first day of our stay and the only thing i can suggest is more doormats to wipe our wet feet. One other tiny thing is we wished for the lights in the front tree would have worked. Overall we had a wonderful stay

Easy way to rent

This was a special reunion of family from coast to coast and the Kite House was perfect for us. We easily enjoyed both private and together spaces. Bradley and Kristen were extremely welcoming and responsive. They resolved an issue related to a refrigerator quickly and to our satisfaction. We would stay here again.

We had a fantastic time in this beautiful house! It was close to the islands and to the beach. Two beautiful kitchens were amazing for our group! Loved the house and the town and the water…loved everything!

We were here for a local triathlon. The property was the perfect location as our family could see us 4 times without leaving the porch. The house was amazing and the owners had fantastic communication. One of my favorite VRBO’s I’ve stayed in. The very top gave an amazing view. Highly recommend.

This is a spectacular place. It’s uber clean, really big, decorated beautifully and the location could not have been better. It’s probably one of the best places we’ve stayed. Location was walking distance to downtown (under a mile). We were there for a wedding. And it was extra special that various wedding party, family and guests would walk or drive by and stop by for a chat, coffee or glass of wine. Fun times. Decks everywhere. The owners were very responsive. The house is stocked w things that help short term visitors such as toys, stroller, children books, spices, sugar, coffee, filters, iron/board, beach towels, etc. We couldn’t ask for anything more. Thank you K and B for sharing your beautiful home.

We had a great stay at the Kite house! We had a large group of people and it was great to have plenty of space for everyone. We loved the double kitchens and the third floor bar. The rooftop made for an awesome happy hour spot as well. I was concerned about parking but we had plenty of room. Would definitely recommend!

Our family had a wonderful time in Beaufort. Beautiful property, adorable town, and friendly community. This home was perfect for our family. We had a variety of ages and this property provided privacy and plenty of adorable spaces. We loved exploring the area! We ran in a community Turkey trot, road dunes buggies, took ferry rides, visited the aquarium, and enjoyed lots of yummy local treats and shopping. We look forward to visiting again soon!
