Everything was to a high standard and the staff were really helpful, friendly and always cheerful. This is the best hotel in Biscarrosse and we will always use it when we visit the town. Thanks for a great stay.

Nice bar with friendly and attentive staff. Healthy and tasty breakfast. Comfortable bed. Excellent shower. I would stay at Hype Hotel again.

staff was super nice, the hotel has a nice vibe with lots of original artworks, which give it a distinct personality. Breakfast very good.

Apparently it lacks a lift to the upper levels. Not a problem for us but if you’re older or woth limited mobility check with the staff prior to booking.

This is an 11/10 hotel ! What a great place to stay. The rooms were fabulous and with the large balcony, a proper holiday experience. The hotel environs and mis en scene thoughtful and creative. The hosts Lisa and David were so welcoming, friendly and helpful we couldn't believe our luck in finding this place . The rooms were exceptionally well appointed with english language telly and a great bathroom. Even though having to be served due to COVID requirements , breakfast was super quality and comprehensive. Secure parking out back and sensible arrangements for accessing the building . The hotel is really handy for Biscarosse being on the right side of town for some tourist attractions like the Museum of Hydro-aviation and a characterful Tex Mex place but the town centre is a quick walk too . (Look out for the restaurant next door to the Hotel Atlantide .. good value and delicious food. A grown up venue for grown ups. We loved it! The beach is a short drive or a longer cycle ride .

Rooms were lovely. I was on the ground floor and my Dad on the 1st floor. Both rooms were finished to an exceptional standard – I don’t think that my house has been finished this well. Comfortable bed and excellent quality linen. Good choice of breakfast options (cooked/continental). Quality, complimentary toiletries. Water pressure was amazing in the bath/shower. Unique decor. Understated in the rooms and vibrant and original in the open areas. So much nicer than a chain hotel. Air con - I didn't need to use it as June was masquerading as March, however great addition for hot, summer months. Private parking (enough height to get our VW transporter in), with plenty of on-street parking to front. Well located for Biscarrosse centre and the Hydraviation museum. Being just out of season, we struggled to find a decent place for dinner that was open. Welcoming staff. Easy check in process. The owners are lovely. They’ve travelled the world, speak multiple languages and are really interested in their guests. The hotel layout and décor are of their own design and you can tell that they’ve used their years of experience to create a welcoming and comfortable place for visitors.

Air-freshener in the bathroom was quite strong. I've an issue with anything that has a strong smell (but that's just me). The rooms have wooden floors, and I could hear someone wearing heels pacing in the room above mine. It wasn't for long though and I'm really nit-picking to find negatives, everything else was great.
