The breakfast was excellent…loads of choice and served in a beautiful shady garden. This is just a lovely place to stay. We felt like one of the family..it was very special.

I cannot think of a thing to improve at the hotel …perhaps a little more storage in the room if you’re staying a while.

A relatively quiet location, a very easy walk to the Old Town area and almost nextdoor to the “Courts” district with plentiful cafes and restaurants. Our room (ground floor apt, garden view) was spacious, clean, very well fitted out, with a daily maid service (with linen/towels) if required, fridge topped up daily with water. Great breakfast choice served in a relaxed manner in the well shaded garden. But it’s the team of staff who make this special, especially Dina, who could not do more for us.

I hope it indicates just how great this hotel is, when my only negative would be to ask for a larger bin in the room.

Nice and spacious room. Always very clean. The breakfast was delicious and with very generous portions. The staff was very kind and always available to help.

Amazing hotel, so clean and beautiful. The staff is really great, very friendly and helpful. We loved our stay there for 2 weeks, the kids used the pool a lot and the grown ups enjoyed the garden. The breakfast is really good and we loved everything about the hotel. Would definitely recommend and hope we can go again someday. Thank you for the best hotel experience we've had!

The Staff were lovely…very helpful and friend. The room was comfortable and cool.

There was nowhere to sit and relax outside your room, “inside” the hotel. Basically, lovely rooms and a small garden with a large avocado tree(s) and small pool. Breakfast was outside, which is fine if it doesn’t rain! Fifteen minute hike to get into the old town too… which was fine for us… be prepared to walk!

The rooms were spotless and well looked after. Attention to detail was great with fresh linen and towels. Staff were superb and very welcoming with a great breakfast service every morning. The pool was also pleasant and not over crowded which was an added bonus.

We had such a wonderful honeymoon staying at Epavali. Everyone was so lovely, super helpful and beyond attentive. Breakfast under the avocado tree was the best start to the day, with all the homemade quirks such as lemon marmalade and cherry juice. The atmosphere was relaxed and the location was right by old town! Highly recommend!

Nothing. Maybe the lighting in the rooms could be a bit dimmer/ warmer? That's all I can think of!

This hotel is fantastic! As a young female solo traveler the area felt very safe to walk around regardless of the time of day. The location was also perfect for reaching the old town and harbour by foot. The staff were so friendly, welcoming and helpful. The room was excellent. Breakfast was lovely. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone and stay here myself again if I return to Chania!

The pool was a lovely and much-appreciated bonus. It was lovely to sit in the sunny garden and to breakfast under the avocado tree. The rooms were lovely.

I I like the size of the room and how modern it was. It was incidentals. The room was lovely with excellent hospitality. The lady greeted us with a smile every day. Everything was perfect and wholesome. The people are friendly. Because of how many rooms there is, everyone is friendly and chats with everyone. Great location- 10 minutes from the city centre which was handy.

Everything!! it was truly amazing!!

The staff were absolutely amazing- Penny is so friendly, welcoming and always there to help. The location is great- outside of the centre of Chania so you can get away from the crowds but close enough to walk there in about 10/15 mins. We travelled with our 20 month year old son, so the park just down the road was perfect to take him to some mornings. We also loved the local beach which was a 10 min walk away - very small section of sand but just what we needed and only locals there swimming in the sea so didn’t feel touristy. The breakfast at the hotel each morning was also delicious. We walked into town each day for an early dinner with our little one.
