Lovely atmosphere, friendly and polite employees upon arrival. Close enough to main roads but not too close you hear them.

The beds were a bit too hard for my liking but feel this comes down to personal preference as kids and partner all slept well.

Lovely warm welcome, booking in was easy, room was big enough for what we needed. We had dinner in the pub down stairs, easy ordering, quick delivery, food Lovely we would stay again but In another room,for the reasons below. Many thanks everyone

In our room (over looked the bus) the main window didn't shut properly you could put your fingers in the gap, causing quite a draft, it was a windy & rainy night the wind whistled through, a few times during the night we had to get up and re pull the curtains as the wind had opened them , but im sure its a easy fix adjusting the window hinge will make it close properly I'm sure. We all said we would stay again but just in another room.

Great value, food was nice with a modern twist.

Kettle was awkward to plug in as it had a lead attached so that you had to unplug it to fill it & the lead was too short. There was no chair or desk only a wardrobe & chest of drawers, so only the bed to sit on.

Hotel & restaurant was great. They have "fun bus" for the kids. They love it. Food was good, nice & clean place in general.

Didn't like the fact they don't serve breakfast, which for the hotel with own restaurant is very odd. That was only think we have been dissappointed about.

This Inn is a little gem! It was easy to find, had accessible parking, hot showers, good food and drinks available, cozy beds and a helpful, pleasant staff. We couldn’t have asked for anything more. If our travels had allowed it, we definitely would have stayed additional nights.

Good location and value. Stayed in shepherd's hut. Nice, warm and comfortable. Pub food was good value (more menus should emulate Mexican-style fillings in a calzone as was done here: delicious! :-) ). One lady in the pub was wonderfully efficient and everywhere: serving food, behind bar, checking everyone happy with their food etc: credit to her!

Perhaps curtains in shepherd's hut could be thicker to reduce outside light. Perhaps car park could have lines repainted (could fit in more cars if all were parked neatly). Minor points though: didn't detract from our stay.

Very welcoming staff and good location for an event nearby.

Room 7, mattress was so thin that we could feel the wooden slats. This caused my wife to need an osteopath visit for severe back pain. Light over sink not working. Socket for bedside lamp faulty. Room could do with some bright throws to make it more welcoming.

Very basic and unloved. Single glazing so rather cold and traffic noise. Paper thin walls, can hear everything from neighbour, their entire phone call. Freezing cold on arrival. Used backup heater to warm up. Very narrow double bed. Whilst clean enough, was not that clean feeling of a well looked-after place. Plug sockets were extension leads, adding to the sense of a student digs in the 70s. Hotel part of the Inn feels underinvested and really quite strange in its bare drabness. Just needs a good overhaul and could be lovely. Carpark is not set off public highway, so felt vulnerable with loaded car. Menu wasn't our thing, so we ate in town at a Thai restaurant. A minor thing: only a bedside table on one side. We wouldn't come back, but if you were stuck for a night, it isn't dirty, just basic and tired, so would be fine for a night's sleep. Younger people may find it acceptable but the price is not dissimilar in price to other hotels locally and it really should be a low budget offering.

The staff were great, and the dinner we purchased just down stairs was good value. Parking was easy and convenient.

The mattress did not match the bedframe (different size). Room was small for the number of people but functional.
