Outstanding view over the city and lake Lugano. Breakfast made with love. Reception staff flexible and friendly to give us the perfect room for weather photography.

Everything a bit aged, but compensated by the great location and view.

Fabulous view

great view over Lake Lugano and the city of Lugano. You must book a room with balcony and view, it is worth it. The rooms are very comfortable and big. Walking downhill to the city center takes about 50 minutes, 20 minutes by bus.

Unfortunately, the swimming pool, with fantastic views, is not heated. The service in the restaurant is very slow, although only few people were there....

Fantastic view over Lugano and the lake. Nice pool area. Good public transportation for those without a car.Rooms and bathroom as one can expect from this pricerange.

Kitchen could have been a little better,but can not say it was bad either...

Very nice hotel, location with amazing view, the staff was super friendly. There is the swimming pool across the road, was super during the hot days. The room was a bit dated, but clean, very quite to sleep. The bus to the city centre goes every half an hour till midnight.

The food in the restaurant could be better. The breakfast was good, but dinner was not that tasty. Went to the centre to have better options.

Great view. Must have dinner to watch beautiful sunset. Rooms are very clean. Aircon was a bonus in the summer heat.

Furniture need refreshing. Felt like back in the 1980s.

family hotel with an idiosyncratic feel

The view is the selling point of this hotel! It is a very relaxing experience to sit on the balcony and see the city underneath lighting up for the night life. The room is in good size and the balcony is in a comfortable size too. The bus right in front of the hotel that leads to the center of Lugano and the scenery on the route is quite enjoyable. Breakfast was OK.

The bed in our room is too soft for us. We did not sleep well. But it is OK for one night. The worker started to work as early as 7am! We kind of understand that people need to use the cooler hours to work outside but the fact is that we woke up because of the drilling sounds.

old, run down, air conditioner in the room was broken and they couldn’t fix it. asked for a room change but they only gave us a room that is smaller and bad view

the view is stunning beds were comfortable

the rooms have very old carpet and smell like old carpets. we rented a suite with 4 beds but there is only one room, not two rooms with two beds.
