I loved this guesthouse so much I changed my travel plans so I could stay longer. It’s one of my favourite stays ever - and I travel a lot. The building is gorgeous, and is beautifully and interestingly decorated with a multitude of special touches. Adam the owner, is helpful and pleasant and went out of his way to make my stay special. there are bikes to rent, and the cutest little movie theater (smallest in Denmark) on the property and guest can go for free. The yard is perfect place to sit on a sunny day and the house is comfortable and stylish. Cant recommend enough. Loved my stay.

really beautiful converted granary. with gorgeous beams and lovely design touches everywhere.
super clean, probably the cleanest bathrooms I’ve ever been in. great area to make coffee, fridges to hold your food, chilled water 24/7, a fantastic outdoor area to have breakfast from the local bakery, comfy bed, great location, and the owner Adam was super nice about everything. he helped us with recommendations, bike hire and some additional things around our wedding. we had a really fantastic time.
I’m usually not a fan of shared showers but honestly they were the cleanest , most beautiful bathrooms I’ve ever seen so I would stay here again in a minute. it’s a small hotel so there was never any issues

A guesthouse full of charm and personality. Located right in the middle of town, but in a quiet yard behind the street. Very comfy beds and nicely decorated rooms. Great host providing excellent service, honesty bar, coffee facilities including fresh milk.
Shared bathrooms. Having sad that, the bathrooms are of very high standard, almost boutique luxury. And the number of rooms and guests are few; no queues in the mornings.

Awesome house and wonderful host Adam. Great free access to tasty French press coffee and tea all day and fridges always with fresh water to enjoy, plates and cutlery and tasty coffee sweets. A great added bonus is free access to the cinema below the guesthouse. We should really follow his advice and move to Ærø.

We went to Ærø for our wedding and staying at Andelen was the best decision we made. Highly recommended!

everything is above expectations. the place is newly renovated and each and every detail is well cured and thought through. Adam is a wonderful host which made us feel at home, he even went the extra mile to “rescue” us on a bike path when our bike broke :-)
the location is just perfect. coming by car, I had chance to park my EV in the backyard and recharge it nicely in the nearby public charging station.

Unique, great location from the ferry, quiet, personalized attention from Adam the owner, amazing family suite! We rented bicycles- they were high quality and rode well. We enjoyed a lovely al fresco dinner on the patio- ordered falafel, hummus, salads, fresh pita, etc from the food truck at the end of the property.

The deco of the guesthouse is unbelievable. It makes me feel like in the mountains of Nepal. Like it truly! Furthermore, super soft bathrobe is provided :)

We had the BEST room for our family! The kids had a room below our loft. There was plenty of space for a family of 5. The host was responsive and helpful!

Such an interesting conversion! A former grainery now a guest house. Location was pretty good and Adam was an excellent host.

Location was fantastic and the property exceeded my expectations In every way. The updated style that still maintains the charm of the property, blended with all of the modern conveniences one would need makes this the perfect property to stay in. The owner was extremely friendly, and knowledgeable of the area. I would recommend the property to couples and families alike.

Lovely place to stay, located just off the street this old Granary been lovely converted by the host Adam, who really ensured your are welcomed and have a great stay.

The location is right in the village but has a nice private patio for relaxing. Adam, the owner, was always available to help and answer questions. It was a truly unique place and experience. 10/10 would recommend!

Beautifully renovated building. Adam has taken much love and thought in restoring and furnishing the rooms.
The accommodation is quiet and conveniently located with stunning views and lots of sunshine on the deck.
Adam is a kind and helpful host, and has wonderful tips on places to visit around the island.
I would definitely stay here again. The suite is ideal for 4-5 people with its private bathroom and lounge area.
Andelen is a special place, and hopefully we will come back someday.
