The location on the beach is nice but a bit far from the rest of the island. The staff and owner are lovely and take good care of their guess.

just one word , it was an amazing experience being at lazy hut ❤️

- The Lazy Hut lives up to its name: it's a hut, at the beach, with marvellous places to lay down and relax (trees, smaller "huts", pillows and mattresses, etc). The place is beautiful, and so is the beach! - Nice staff, ready to help you with anything you need - Clean room, big and comfortable bed! - Good thai food for any meal

- Is far away from pretty much everything, so it is not that easy at night to go out for dinner or for a drink, for example. Of course, this is not a problem if you have a scooter. During the day, and if the tide is low, you can walk through the beach to access some cafes and restaurants

This is very a unique and special place. One of a kind! The team, everybody here is sooo lovely, friendly, nice and always helpful for everything one needs. It is like being in a big nice family or having friends around all the time. Also the guests here seem to melt into that special vibe, so that it is really a kind of "vacation with family and friends"-feeling you're living here. What is also very important for us: the quality of the cuisine is excellent!!! A big variety, always very fresh, always delicious! We have always been very happy with our meals and drinks, witch on top are at a very good price. We have had electricity all the time, which is also a plus on the island. There was wifi most of the time, but a little unstable or weak data traffic sometimes. The room was functional with everything needed, plus balcony and hammock. I'd say a good Thai standard. Little bathroom in the room, with cold water only, but doesn't matter, because it's always so warm, you don't need warm water. The place has a lot of nice outdoor chill out places, which is very nice for socializing. We could rent a scooter on place, very nice, and the manager at the reception Biu even helped us with managing the Thai sim card for the right settings and topping up.

Nothing negative! Only the wifi that was a little unstable from time to time, which was relevant for us, since we had some work to do online, but this is not a big deal and might not matter for others.

Super chilled vibe, great food & lovely staff

Nice traditional huts and rooms right in the beautiful Ao Yai, the 3 kilometres long beach with the finest white sand. Very friendly and forthcoming staff, absolutely stunning food and a nice little bar for the sundowners.

The cold shower needs a bit of courage in the morning 😉 And the mosquitoes are ferocious, bring the strongest repellent you find.

Our initial 2 nights ended up being 2 weeks, which says it all. Various bungalow options for different budget, which all are very good value for money. Owner and staff that is as good as it gets. Really nice atmosphere and community, especially when staying longer.

I stayed 10 days but despite asking they never provided clean sheets or towels or emptied bathroom bin.

A super cozy, relaxing place, where you have everything you need just two steps away. The ocean is literally in front of you. You can watch the tides while having breakfast at the restaurant five meters from your bungalow. The menu is rich and they cook everything fresh and tasty (banana pancake is amazing)! The stuff is friendly, helpful and always happy. They help you organise everything you ask for. The cute bar, next to the restaurant (so next to your bungalow) plays perfect music and serves awesome drinks. It was not crowded when I have been there with my child and it felt like a little family. Perfect for kids, cause they can play in the sand and ocean all day long, while you can relax in your hammock and watch them. You can even get a massage there (best one I ever got!). Wifi works good everywhere too.

Mosquitoes and sandflies are annoying. Some say coconut oil helps. Otherwise stuff will happily put a mosquito net over your bed. And during sunset, while high mosquito season, just talk a walk on the massive white beach and enjoy the nature…

Everything was lovely. My room was super spacious, clean, and had a nice balcony looking onto the ocean. It was really quite charming and relaxing, they have a nice area set up on the beach to suntan/ lounge or to watch the sun set. The beach is very beautiful as well, super long and nice to swim in. All of the staff are absolutely wonderful, thank you for making my stay so amazing and for making me feel so welcomed, the food at the restaurant was absolutely delicious as well- I ate almost all of my meals here as it was so good. I will definitely be back, and hopefully I can come soon. I will tell all my friends and family to come stay at Lazy Hut as well.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. They really look after you very well. I intended to stay for five nights but then extended my stay because it is such a friendly, relaxing place on an amazing beach.

The Team at lazy hut is absolutely amazing. Lovely people. The location of lazy hut is awesome if you want to chill and relax with a book, great drinks and food. Right at the wide long beach. This spot is a wonderful getaway. Falling asleep while listening to the sea. What more is there to ask for !!! The restaurant at lazy hut is also excellent. But if you want to you can find other options next door as well. I had a nice Bungalow with plenty of space, a very comfortable bed and the best mosquitonet I've ever expirienced:) I'll definitely come back!

The bathroom needs a little upgrade. I didn't like that everytime I went in the bathroom my feet got sandy
