I think the reading lamps need to be upgraded to higher or more direct ones so the light shines on the pages being read. Even with overhead lights l needed my own torch to read in bed

Pure friendliness and willingness to assist (but never overplaying it) of the host.

No dislikes, although possibly the guest car parking area needs a slight reshape.

Vanessa and Graeme were lovely. We stayed there on October, 30th, and they brought us homemade cookies and even some halloween decor to get in the Halloween spirit! The room was very spacious and very comfy. For breakfast, they left us bead (toaster was in the room as well), various spreads, orange juice, coffee, milk, a choice of cereal, some snacks and fruit. It was all in the room which was very convenient for us.

If I have to complain about something, the only thing I wasn't a big fan of was the shower and specifically the shower curtain. You inevitably get all the bathroom floor wet which is a bit of a pain. It is a small thing though, and it doesn't change my positive experience staying here!

The room was impeccably clean, and we were pleasantly surprised by the thoughtful extras and treats available. We were treated to a selection of coffee, teas, juice, and chocolate, adding an extra touch of comfort and enjoyment to our stay.

The hosts were welcoming and friendly. The room was clean and warm and the continental breakfast was great. The bikes were easy to use and just right for a bit of vinyard sightseeing.

We had an awesome experience staying at Swan House! The rooms were impeccably clean, modern and the bed was super comfortable. We used the bike to go-about nearby which was very useful! But most importantly, Venessa and Graeme were the most hospitable hosts ever! It was my husband’s birthday and they decorated the room with special birthday balloons and a birthday banner which was the sweetest thing ever! Highly recommended! 😊

Enjoyed our stay. Close to town centre and 1.5k from most wineries which was an easy bike ride. Rooms had lots of extras..great tea selection and some goodies in fridge. Nice deck for guests to use.

Fabulous stay! Great host, unit was clean and tidy, excellent variety of teas available - lots of options for breakfast too. Overall very enjoyable!

Marie was excellent. The property should have been offline as she was away but when our booking popped up she swung into action to make sure all was fine. It's a great location, quiet and comfortable with a huge attention to detail by the hosts. Breakfast was super.

The weather. We coincided with a southerly airflow of rain. But Marie's helper provided us with umbrellas so we could walk into the centre for our evening meal.

The breakfast in our fridge was a lovely surprise with a variety of breakfast options. Loved the bicycles that were available to use at no extra cost. The hostess was super friendly and helpfull! Loved our stay here.

Very nice environment and room...but breakfast ordinary and do not think in today's environmental awareness one should serve jams, butter, and even fruit in prepacked plastic packages...and not worthy of a boutique BnB. I would expect handmade or at least jars.

Great staying in Martinborough at Swan House with great and lovely hosts. It was a really nice apartment where you can find everything you want also the breakfast was great and we got some nice advices from our hosts regarding visiting some vineyards. Even one day/night was to short I have to admit to stay in this great atmosphere.

Marie (the hostess) is fantastic, greets you as you arrive and perfect level of interaction throughout our stay. Swan house is in a great location and our room itself was spacious and immaculately presented. We enjoyed having breakfast provisions at our finger tips and the lovely snacks, tea/coffee selection.

Marie was so helpful. There are lots of little extras to eat. Chips, chocolates, bread with multi options to spread on toast, huge number of different teas, coffee pod machine, breakfast was delightful. As a coeliac there was GF cereal provided. Bathroom very clean and again lots of little thoughtful extras. Only an 8 min walk to the Square. Would definitely recommend a stay and outside the room is a lovely seating area on the deck. We were in unit 3 and It was perfect. .
