Simply an amazing experience. Sue and Patrick are fantastic hosts. On arrival we were greeted with a cockatoo saying hello! Then we got to spend some time around their very friendly birds. They even took us out on a night walk to see some musky rat kangaroos. Simply a great all round experience. Definitely worth staying the night in Kuranda just for this.

Sue and Patrick have a unique place. They are so welcoming and the accommodation was the best I have ever stayed in! Everything you could ever want they provide! Including a delicious breakfast.

Loved the size of the unit. The African theme throughout the unit was very effective. The breakfast supplied was substantial and very enjoyable. The owners were very friendly. wish we could have stayed longer.

Spacious property with various balconies for use, kitchenette and lounge area. Birds galore, both wild and rescue ones. Owners very friendly and accommodating with any requests or with information.

Well kept and characterful. very comfortable bed. great breakfast options provided and incredibly friendly and interesting hosts.

wifi was weak and didn’t extend beyond the living room but this was only an issue for me as I had to do some work which required internet connectivity as there was almost no mobile coverage.

Great value, the place was very clean & the hosts were very welcoming, Fritz included… You’ll have to stay there to know what that last part meant.
