Everything was perfect this is the best place to stay within the area
And worth the money
Hot tub
Log fire
A great place to stay
Nothing was a issue from the owner
We booked in late at night after being let down by a terrible play to stay
The owner looked after us thank you so much
Everything was in the property that we would ever need
Nothing this place is amazing

Beautiful setting in a village with a few good pubs and restaurants. Spotlessly clean, comfortable bed, good shower, good heating (gas fire is an excellent touch for relaxing after a hard day). Mostly gorgeous old fashioned architecture with a very rustic but clean aesthetic.
Nothing - totally self serviced which is my preference.
4.7
How helpful and friendly everyone was, nothing too much trouble.the accommodation was excellent and lots of dog walks and fishing
Nothing everything was great
4.7
It was so picturesque and quiet ideal for what we wanted
Clean in a beautiful location and relaxing environment
4.7
very quite and chilled out, the staff are amazing and will help you out with anything
my only down fall was my own fault, I didn’t arrive till late due to my car been broke down so I didn’t have time to talk to any staff and figure everything out but it would have been nice if someone popped by in the morning to just explain things quickly, I.e where things where, about the hot tub
4.7
Cottage was clean and comfortable with everything you need. Peaceful location. Karen and Liam so friendly and helpful.
Nothing not to like.
4.7
Location was exceptional beautiful scenery, the whole estate was well kept, clean and tidy
The help from the owner and staff were not what I would have expected we had three maintenance issues that although they were very apologetic and said the right things we’re content to let them get done in there own time. There was no urgency in their attempt to rectify the problems two of which were not repaired even at the time we left

Jockhedge is a lovely place to stay. It feels like home away from home, with a beautiful countryside setting. We stayed in Lavender cottage, which was private and quiet. The facilities in the cottage were excellent, and the bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed sitting out in our private garden with a cup of tea, looking at the flowers, and enjoying the birds. We took day trips to Skegness and Boston, and it felt like coming home when we got back to the cottage. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the walks around the property were easy and enjoyable. Nice touches when we arrived included fresh flowers, milk and a fruit loaf. We couldn't have asked for better.
4.7
The privacy of the cottage and the peace and quiet of the countryside suited the adults, and the 10-minute drive to Skegness and Fantasy Island suited the kids. A win-win holiday.
This is our fault entirely, we tend to avoid accommodation that allows dogs due to an allergy, we were comforted by the thought that dogs were not allowed in sleeping areas however, the dog hairs revealed that not all do owners abide by the rules. Having said that there was little evidence of dogs but as I state this was made clear in the booking details.

Excellent cottages, lovely and comfortable and well equipped.
Internet speeds not enough to stream TV such as Netflix etc.
4.7
very nice location, out of the way and secure for contractors vehicles

Period charm with a contemporary twist.
Beautiful views. Peaceful. Good quality furniture and kitchenware, cottage clean throughout, very comfy bed, luxury bedding and towels.
Hot tub on site, easily booked at reception.
Nothing. Everything was lovely and relaxed.
4.7
On arriving at the cottages we were impressed with the rural setting .
Our room had a beautiful view of the lakes and countryside.
The room had everything and more you would need for a very comfortable self catering stay.
Unfortunately the WiFi in the room we stayed in( The Hayloft )was very poor to none existent.
4.7
Period charm with a contemporary feel and all mod cons. Very clean and comfortable. Beautiful, peaceful, rural location but with hustle and bustle of local seaside and surrounding areas if you want it.
Cannot fault anything. Pretty perfect really.
Well done Jockhedge 👍😊

Everything about the property was exceptional.
Truly nothing

Had an amazing restful time at the cottages. Plenty of space to walk the dogs and close to skegness and beaches.
everything was great, just needed a large brush for the floor.
4.7
The location is amazing and the local village is easily walkable with lots of lovely pubs that are dog friendly. The site itself is set back away from the main road and the surrounding land is great for an early morning dog walk. It was very quiet and peaceful throughout our stay.
The bed was really comfortable and the linen beautifully crisp. This was two single beds connected together and so there was a ridge down the middle.
Heating was good and responsive via the radiators.
Nice welcome gift of milk and plum bread which was much appreciated.
Heated towel rail in bathroom didn’t work and so it was really cold on a morning and the towels wouldn’t dry. These had to be hung over the back of the chairs in the living room.
The shower and general water pressure was poor. There was also a beam along the middle of the show cubicle and if you are taller than 6ft you had to duck to have a shower.
The gas fire wouldn’t light and the WiFi wanted all of your personal details. It didn’t connect the first time and so we just used our own VPN.
The bottom half of the front stable door would not lock and so the only lock on this door was the top, surface mounted latch lock. The bottom section wedged into the top and so was very basically secure, but very weak and so we took all our valuable belongings with us everywhere we went.
When we checked out, this was raised and the gentleman on the desk said ‘Yeah, now we are out of season we will get everything fixed.’ Thanks for that!
To note that we paid £485 for three nights plus an extra £30 for the dog. That is well over £1000 a week. It was very nice, but not worth this.

The grounds the cottages were on were lovely and well maintained

4.7
Fabulous location, very peaceful
We can highly recommend these properties
Very high comfort level with superb beds, towels, linens and sofas
All kitchen equipment of good quality
The lounge in our property had a conservatory roof
It was partially blinded but was still very warm
We stayed during a warm week and so found it too hot
The lighting in the lounge was difficult too with warm coloured bulbs which were not good for reading in the evening

Liked everything !
Nothing not to like

The cottages were clean and nice. There was a big playground for kids and a little lake where you could go finishing. Even though guests were allowed to bring dogs it was all very quiet and peaceful.
The cottages were a bit small, especially the kitchen in those with a 4 people occupancy rate. There were no washing machines in the cottages but you could get your stuff washed for GBP 4 in the laundrette. Also not recyle areas within the cottage only a normal bin.
4.7
Quiet location and we had the benefit of being on the outside boundary of the property giving lovely open view over the adjoining field and lake.
Small bedroom with bed smaller than we’re used to.
4.7
The cottage was very comfortable and in beautiful surrounding.
There was nothing to dislike.

Host was lovely and met us to hand over the keys. Location was perfect for our visit to family and the grounds were beautiful. Nice touches such as robes and a welcome basket. Local village Burgh le marsh is great for food/drink in the eve.
Beds weren’t comfy in either room and very soft so quality of sleep wasn’t great. Bathroom smelt of drains every single day coming from sink and shower plugs. Tv remote never worked and reception unable to give us batteries. Found a pair of crusty old socks in a drawer from previous guests!
4.7
Every thing spotless, everything in the cottage that you needed, beautiful grounds ideal for a lovely walk, staff so helpful, we will definitely be back x
Could not dislike anything.x
