The villa is beautiful, it was perfect stay for the last couple of days of our vacation. The view was stunning, and dogs are also welcomed. We we really happy to stay there.

Perfect stay for a family reunion, we rented all 5 rooms including the separate studio. Was lovely to have all 10 of us around the same table for meals and board games :) Very comfortable home and right on the lungolago walk.

Just know that on the third floor of the villa, 3 of the rooms (single &2 doubles) share the same lovely huge bathroom. Great for large families with kids, not so great for separate couples.

The view was exceptional and the cottage comfortable with one or two exceptions. Our hosts were fantastic.

We stayed in the cottage. We had high expectations, but in our opinion an amazing property was let down by one serious and several minor issues, which could easily be remedied. (Because of its uniqueness and potential, I have gone into some detail about improvements that could be made.) There was no mention of a steep climb up to the house plus steps. There was a motorised barrow, which fortunately my husband was able to use for our luggage.. We are elderly, and luckily fit. In fact, as the Booking.com entry said the property was "beachside", we had thought it was actually by the lake! I am afraid we think the property description was seriously misleading. If one of us had been disabled or not fit, the access would have been impossible. Had the entry been honest about the access, we would still have booked but would have been prepared for what was there, and perhaps expected to pay a little less. On a more trivial level, there were a number of minor areas needing remedy, which would have improved our stay. The most serious is that the front door was self locking with no way to disable this; only one set of keys was provided. I accidently sat shivering outside in my pyjamas, while my husband was taking the dogs for their early morning walk! Apparently I am not the first to be caught out! There was nowhere to put our bags in the bedroom except the floor, similarly the bathroom. There were no hangers; and the more accessible cupboards were full of furniture for more guests. The kitchen was organised so that there was no cupboard space for our own food. And maddeningly the hedge in front of the kitchen window obscured the view when sat at the table. Finally the welcome information would be improved with some information on how things worked eg the electric gate.

The big house is beautiful and comfortable, lake view amazing and the location great - close to the center of the town (walking distance), but at the same time remote and giving the opportunity to relax. The hosts are very nice and helpful. Can’t wait to be back.

The cottage is very nice with beautiful view and garden with al sorts of vegetation. Great hosts too! I can really recommend this place close to the border of Ticino, the Italians speaking part of Switzerland.

The make the cottage even better: - add some clothes hangers to the closets - add some dishcloths to the kitchen

Everything was great

Amazing view from the balcony, the bungalow next to the main villa is perfect for a couple and a week holiday. Just Perfect. 10 min walk all along the lake until the center and great restaurants. Very easy pick up of the keys and check out (we could even stay until 13h as they were no hosts after us so really great flexibility). The host, Marco and his wife gave us a top recommendation for the best restaurant in the region, they were super friendly and we could even do a laundry in the principal villa. Fantastic stay and we will be back next year for sure. We loved it.

Everything was perfect

Wonderful relaxed place with a great view and easy access to the lake. Marco gave us charcoal to use the BBQ. We had been traveling for two weeks and it was nice to have a place to ourselves and a relaxed bbq instead of going to a restaurant (although there are some very close by along the lake). Our dogs were welcome and free to roam around the place.
