Great location and large, clean, beautifully furnished rooms above a restaurant right on the main street of town. It was not far from the train station which was also great since we were traveling by train to Murten and made excursions by train from there. Murten is a wonderful town to stay in with easy boat and train excursions from the town and very good restaurants in town. Murten was a great choice since it was close to Bern but without all the negatives of a larger city.
The street below our rooms was very lively and noisy very late into the night. The rooms were great but needed more lighting as they were quite dark at night and without the curtains open.

Fantastic room, very western in the sense that the bathroom was huge and the mattress topper actually created a real king bed feel, versus just two twins shoved together. Private terrace was a huge plus for morning coffee. Great craft soaps/shampoo. I look forward to staying at the Adler again!

Although we arrived early and our rooms were not ready. they were kind enough to prepare the rooms for us as soon as possible and offered as coffee while we wait. Perfect host and customer service
Nothing at all

We liked this hotel a lot. The staff was really friendly, they offered us a drink on the house. The room was clean, nicely decorated and comfortable. The location cannot get more central. We also appreciated the simple checkout that only required leaving the room key in a box upon departure. Would definitely stay here again.

Everything else was great! Very friendly and helpful staff. The place is super clean and cozy. Would defo recommend it. Loved the separate duvets on the double bed (good call!)
The room was a little dark. A big lamp in the opposite corner of the bed would have been nice. And having a little fridge to store food would have been convenient as well. Although these points are just minor things to me. Loved it otherwise. Very nice decoration and vibe!

If you like adventure stay at this hotel. It was fun but a little different. The location was great and I happy with it.

It was quiet despite the fact it was in the center. Sound proofing is not very common in old buildings in Switzerland so I was very happy when I found this place. Bed was very comfortable. View from my window was pretty cool.

Fantastic location, close to all sights, restaurants, shopping and walkable from the train station. Very friendly staff and very helpful with luggage storage. The pub was fun and had tasty food and wine.

You pay for room in advance and then you pay again the deposit which is same as room price without any warning. Checkin and checkout time was confused

The hotel is in the middle of the town. Walking distance to the lake and lots of good restaurants and shops around. The staff is very friendly and the room is perfect. Lovely interior and super clean. Beds were so comfy. Even thought the hotel room was at the front, during the night there was no noise. There is a small kitchen with lovely kitchen ware. A cosy table and it all feels very homy. We walked down the lake to go for a swim. After that we went just around the corner to a fantastic restaurant called the Käserei. The village is so lovely that even being from Switzerland, it felt like being on holidays. We will be back !!!

Location is great. We had a suit with two rooms . Modern, clean, comfortable. Not a traditional hotel ... no reception, instead there is a good restaurant and you can walk thru. Side entrance leading to the elevator. Staff was very helpful. No breakfast. the few options for breakfast around are expensive even for Swiss.
I prefer normal hotels, with reception
No included breakfast when they have all needed to provide it.

In historic quarter of Murten, with nice restaurant on ground floor.
No aircon, so if it is hot, then it is really hot.

The room was light, airy, furnished in good taste and fully equipped, including a Nespresso machine. The hotel does not offer breakfast but has an arrangement with two nearby cafes where guests can get breakfast at a "special" rate of 18 Swiss Francs. The hotel accepted my request for an early arrival and the receptionist offered us a cool drink from the bar when we registered
Eighteen Swiss Francs for breakfast seemed a bit high so we opted to buy a couple of croissants at a nearby bakery and eat them in the room. It would have helped to have a card explaining how to use the coffee machine. And when leaving you are supposed to leave the key in a letter box or at the reception. As the reception was closed, we dropped the key in an unmarked letter box right next to the elevator only to then discover there was a second letter box, marked with a symbol for the key, outside the exit door

Beautiful modern hotel within a original building in Old town Murten.
Staff was super friendly, great location, rooms very well equipped and nicely designed with high quality fixtures, very clean. Nice pub that's part of the hotel, right downstairs, very convenient and good athmosphere
If I had to find anything, the pillow was a bit too soft for my liking and the separate toilet in our apartment had a movement sensor that didn't turn off for minutes after using the loo. Could be improved.
But I'm just being picky now
