A nice 2-bedroom house in Happy Valley, we felt welcome and relaxed as soon as we arrived. We had a view of the ocean from the verandah, a big dining table and nice comfy beds in the 2 bedrooms. Off-grid power, hot shower, fridge and freezer, a gas stove for cooking. And a whistling kettle for our cups of tea, which reminded me of Grandma's house many years ago!
I'll definitely stay at Dingosden next time I visit!

Spacious and neat beach cottage. It is set up for the simple life and is airy and got plenty of room. This is a great location to be able to access the north and south parts of the island. Bree is always amazing and accommodating.

Was a beautiful stay. Location was great. Lots of beautiful nature listening to the frogs was wonderful. Bree made us feel at home we can’t wait to get back

Dingosden was exactly what we were looking for. A clean tidy simple getaway. Was great to have a kitchen with all the cooking utensils we needed. Definitely would go back again.

We’ve been to Fraser numerous times,decided to give Dingos Den a try.
Enjoyed the house itself, knew there wasnt going to be any fans so decided to purchase some cheap pedestal fans and bring them along.
Once we arrived, we discovered there are no power points in any of the bedrooms or the lounge room which resulted in us having to buy 2 extension cords and a power board from the local store at a ridiculous price, which was a must on 35 degree days. Also there was no shower screen on the shower and water went everywhere with every shower. I understand at peak times prices rise but for the price we paid for the accommodation, I think this should be something for the owner to consider prior to charging premium pricing.
All in all, not a bad place to stay.

The overall cleanliness of the property was great. plenty of room inside and with seating both inside and outside the property.
Convenient hose to wash down car and other things located at the front of the property.
BBQ and deck area is great and spacious. Close to the shop and beach. Even offered bait for fishing.
Deep freezer and fridge provide plenty of room for food storage.

We had an amazing 4 days here, property was meticulously clean and well presented. Perfect location and easy to access. This holiday couldnt of been any better!

Our stay at the quaint dingos den was so enjoyable! Love the location, the beautiful breeze through the home, stunning untouched, wild landscape of the property and surrounds. Thanks to Bree, the dingos den was a well equipped, clean, cozy home on a beautiful wild and native property for our Fraser stay and we can’t wait to return!

Lovely and convieant property
This is a great property for exploring the island. The fridge, deep freezer and barbeque are great additions. Happy Valley is 5 minutes away from Eli Creek so you can beat the crowds and secure a spot by the river. Bree also gave us use of the hose to wash off the salt water from under the car. There's limited internet but that seems common on the island. Would recommend to any groups of 5.

Our family had a great week at Dingosden. Perfect location for day trips around the island. The accommodation was lovely, very basic as described but perfect for experiencing a national park with a lot more home comforts than camping!
The property manager Bree was very friendly and made our stay really enjoyable.
We will be back again for sure!

Authentic K'gari experience
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Dingoesden on K'gari. Bree was an excellent host and we appreciated the down-to-earth property being nestled into the dunes and bushland of Happy Valley, well away from resorts and manicured lawns. We visit Fraser Island for an authentic experience to be immersed in the unique natural environment this amazing place has to offer.

Great location and very accommodating owner!! always over pack the necessities the island is expensive and the house has very minimal supplies... don’t forgot things like toilet paper, bath mats, dishwashing liquid, and tea towels!

Dingos den
Nice little shack, my only issue is that the property was in poor repair, one side of the verandah could not be used at all and was dangerous. The smoke alarm was disabled and the tucker box freezer was full of old fish bait and smelt really bad. Other than that a comfortable little shack that had everything we needed for a quiet week in a beautiful location.

Fraser Frolics
Four of us enjoyed our stay at DingosDen. The property was exactly as described and suited our fishing trip perfectly. Bree lives next door so was always there to help and advise. Location is very quiet in a short, no-through lane and within the dingo fence at Happy Valley a short stroll or drive down to the ocean beach.

Great little gem is "Dingos Den"
Really nice little property, has everything you need for a comfortable stay on fraser, clean and tidy in a great location that you can quickly shoot south to eurong or north to eli creek, the maheno or orchid beach, Bree manages this property and was available for anything we need as well as greeting us and seeing us leave, great stay loved it.

We stayed at Dingo’s Den early New yr for 3 nights it’s so a wonderful experience and Bree is great
Can’t praise our experience at Dingosden enough. The cabin is spotless and well equipped with all you need for your stay on Fraser Island . We are a family of 2 adults and 3 children 14 ,12 and 10 . We had ample space for ourselves and had plenty of room to have friends for drinks and nibbles as they were staying near by .
Bree is a fantastic host with a wealth and abundance of local knowledge. Bree is happy to answer questions and assist in with any worry , but you won’t have any . I would highly recommend Dingosden to friends family and anyone looking at staying on Fraser and can’t wait for our next trip back soon .

A Little Gem!
We loved our stay at dingos den and hope to return each year. The house is a perfect size for our small family. Bree the caretaker is lovely and does a great job of keeping the place beautifully maintained and clean. We found Happy Valley to be a perfect central location on the island. We loved being able to easily drive to everything Fraser has to offer from the house and then back in the afternoon to relax and enjoy the creature comforts of home.

A little gem
A great spot to experience Fraser from, very central. Dingosden was agreat property to stay at, simple, very clean, plenty of space. Bree was a great host. Enjoyed stay and would highly recommend it.

Simply Perfect
Surrounded by a natural bush garden and a short walk to the beach, we felt that we had the nature, seclusion and tranquility of camping in a bright, comfortable, vibrant home. Dingo's Den had everything we needed for a wonderful holiday. The Den is filled with natural light, with gleaming wooden floorboards, and a perfectly equipt
kitchen that made cooking and preparing food a pleasure. We had 3 kids with us, from ages 9-14, who found plenty to do, learn, and observe at Dingo's Den. Bree is a welcoming host, with a unique knowledge of the island, which made each of us feel immersed in the experience of this National Park beyond the usual limitations of being a tourist. We felt perfectly at home with the simplicity of Dingo's Den, and were sorry to leave - our stay here contributed greatly to the happy memories we have taken home.

Excellent stay
We had the best time on Fraser Island, Dingosden was like a home away from home we didn't want to leave. It was comfortable with plenty of room for the four of us and the verandah was perfect to sit on with a lovely breeze of an afternoon after plenty of sightseeing to finish the days off it was a very relaxing atmosphere. Bree is lovely and very helpful making sure we were happy and comfortable with our accommodation. We recommend Dingosden and will definitely be staying there again when we return.
