I travel to Kearney for work quite a bit. This place was perfect for my family. It is so close to town yet you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere. The seclusion was perfect for my family and I. We enjoyed our stay and walking the trails throughout the property! 5 stars for sure!

This cabin, (and the botanical gardens nearby at the Yanney Heritage Park) provided a nice respite with quick easy access to town.

We have made it a tradition to stay here with our kids every fall. It started as just a close to home getaway since the kids were so little and it turned into an annual tradition. We keep coming back because the setting is just so wonderful. Secluded yet close to town! The cabin is always so welcoming and comforting. Our host reached out about the coffee pot being broken and asked if we needed one. We said yes we would like to have coffee and she brought one right away. So much fun stuff for little kids. We even saw some wildlife, a raccoon in the creek bathing. It was so cute! We hope to help this tradition for years to come.

We LOVED this cabin! It was truly off the beaten path, and a delight to vacation in. Dog friendly, there were multiple tie outs, dog houses, extra outside bowls, and plenty of things to sniff around the property! Our family enjoyed the spacious living room, and everyone slept well throughout our stay. There are trains nearby, but we have trains where we live, too, so train sounds to me are quite comforting! We will definitely book again next year when we come back out to visit family. So much to do in the area! We bowled, fished, hiked, went shopping, and ate at Alley Rose which was a great place! The house had everything we needed, and we watched a different movie every night with the DVD library provided! FUN!

My wife and i wanted to witness the sandhill crane migration and this cabin was the perfect spot. Quiet, just on the outskirts of town but still close to everything. Sandhill cranes flew over every mornng and evening A field nearby was a staging area for them every morning. Cabin was comfortable. A great place to relax and enjoy nature.

The location and property was perfect for us to have a home away from home Easter dinner. The weather was windy but with the setup of the property we were able to be outside the enjoy the sun all day as well as a beautiful sunset! We had an added bonus of crane watching as they fly right over this location.

Nice little secluded property that everything we needed for a couple of days. Close to town too for eating out and checking out the cranes!

This private cabin is wonderful. You will love it.

This is a quiet and cozy spot. We spent all day hiking trails and watching sandhill cranes. It was great to come back to build a warm fire, cook a nice meal in the fully equipped kitchen, and get a good night's sleep!

Close to town but country feel.

We had another fantastic and relaxing stay! The cabin provided a great way to decompress after the holidays, sitting mesmerized by the warm, crackling fireplace. Top on our list to recommend to friends and family.

My husband and I were celebrating our first anniversary. This cozy cabin was exactly what we needed. It was nice to be in the silence when we are used to the noisy city life. We loved the decor and the fireplace was the perfect addition. We will definitely be going back.

The best time for our family ; our grandson was over the moon and was happy and off a screen the whole time ; wonderful hosts !!!!!

We had a really nice unplug family weekend at the cabin. It was nice to bring our fur baby with us too. Communication was great with the owner. We want to come back for sure. :-)

The loft bed was very comfortable as well as the bunk bed. The seating by the fireplace was extremely comfortable. I would best describe the location as a luxury hunting camp. The bathroom is small and there is no place, other than the floor to place your suitcases. Despite a plethora of windows and wall sconces, the facility is somewhat dark. The kitchen being the brightest room. There should be a pet policy requiring guests to clean up after their dogs. The grounds are littered with dog feces. Despite being over a mile away, the Union Pacific Rail Road makes it’s presence know, especially at night. However, you get use to it after the first night. Overall, a good, very clean facility in an excellent location close to town surrounded by wildlife. I would stay here again.

Nice, quiet and relaxing place to stay. Everything you need and nothing you don't. Close to everything, and a very pleasant alternative to a hotel.

Nestled in a beautiful country setting, but right outside of town, it was the perfect place to soak up nature. Very well kept cabin and such a cozy stay. Perfect for a family adventure.
