Großes Studio-Apartment (für 4 Personen) in Edgecomb, ME, Region Boothbay Harbor. Umgeben von gepflegten Gärten, nur wenige Meter vom Ufer des Sheepscot River Harbour entfernt, genießen wir von unserer gemütlichen, sauberen und vielseitig eingerichteten Suite aus eine atemberaubende Aussicht und Sonnenuntergänge. Die Küchenzeile ist gut ausgestattet und wir kochen hier 3 Mahlzeiten pro Tag. Wir befinden uns in einem Resort auf Davis Island Edgecomb, direkt an der Route 1. Wir sind eine Stunde nördlich von Portland. Es gibt viele wunderbare Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Umgebung - Strände, Restaurants, Museen, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und andere Attraktionen.

We loved staying with Nancy! Super easy to get in contact with her and a perfect place to rent for 3 girls in their 20's. Close to a grocery store although the kitchen is small. Super pretty view with a lovely long dock to walk out on. We loved that there was a rooftop bar right next door and our waiter Marcus was awesome! Such a great location to stay as it is kind of smack dab in the middle between Portland and Acadia. Easy to drive anywhere! Located really close to Red's which is a must eat lobster shack. Would definitely stay here again.

This was a wonderful little gem. The studio was nicely appointed with everything that we needed to enjoy our stay. Location was easy to find and close to a lot of attractions. Highly recommend.

This property is very comfortable to be in, and pleasant despite a mostly rainy weekend. Bathroom set up is lovely, kitchen is functional, the view from the windows is nice, the pier is fun to walk out on, Fort Edgecomb is close by.
As other reviewers have mentioned, the bed is a little hard, and the noise from the upstairs apartment can be quite loud. It sounds like the upstairs apartment doesn't have carpet, and that the inhabitants walk around in loud shoes, heavily. It was disruptive to sleep at times.

The rental was exactly as it looked in the pictures! It was pleasantly decorated and quite comfortable. We rented as an anniversary getaway and found wonderful restaurants and things to do and see in the area. Our host was very solicitous with any questions we had. And the sunsets from our room and the back of the property were amazing! I would return and definitely recommend this property!

The property is in a great location just outside of Wiscasset, serving up fabulous water views right out your window. The restaurant right next door is also a nice added bonus, and you can easily walk down the bridge to enjoy one of the local lobster shacks. The unpictured bathroom is spacious with a shower/tub combo. I was glad to see a kettle in the kitchen for tea. The bed could definitely use a topper, the ceiling as others have mentioned is not well insulated, and the kitchen window has an outdoor light that shines through. Overall I found the apartment to be a good value and I would consider staying here again.

It makes us feel uncomfortable.
You can hear people walking upstairs.The beds are not comfortable whatsoever.The AC unit is very loud . The towels and the property had a musky odor.

Disappointed
I do have some mixed feelings about this apartment. I t was well stocked with everything needed such as paper towels, soap, trash bags, toiletries, etc. A lot of furniture crowded into a small space but it seemed to work. However, every single movement of anyone in the upstairs unit is VERY noticeable and sleep disturbing! Also, there is a very bright outside light (somewhere) that shines through the un-shaded frosted glass kitchen window that contributes even further to a sleepless night. I would not book this apartment again.

We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely place on the water. The place was immaculate and the host provided great details to help us settle in and enjoy a nice restful break and fresh air. We highly recommend and look forward to coming back in the future.

Cute and Cozy
It was really easy to check in and out, and it was nearby many interesting attractions. Overall the room was nice, clean and orderly. The one downside was that sleep was not the greatest. I would recommend some new or better mattresses. Other than that, the room had a lovely view of the water and it was nice to be able to sit outside and watch the sun set over the water. A great place to stay, would visit again.

Nice stay for a few days
The place was nice and as advertised. The kitchen seemed well stocked although we didn’t do any cooking while we were there. The place was cozy and very clean and the view and sunsets were nice. We appreciated the beach towels that were supplied as we had forgotten our own. Like previous reviews mentioned, you can sometimes hear the neighbors upstairs, but it really wasn’t bad.

As advertised
Everything was described accurately. The place is just off route 1, so you can hear the din of traffic. Nothing takes away from the beauty of the bay and sweet dock out front. There’s a strange scent that we couldn’t identify, so if you’re hyper sensitive like me it may not be the best place for you. All in it suited our need to be close enough to the triaining I was attending in Walpole.

Short stay, good location, noisy upstairs neighbors
The place was clean and the location was great. We had no problems with this place, except that the neighbors directly above us on the second floor were noisy. There must have been a toddler upstairs. We woke the toddler running and thumping sounds each morning.

Great location. Easy parking.
Nice to have a glass of wine on the dock watching the sunset. Super location close to many attractions. Pictures were accurate yet we were happily surprised that it was so close to the water. Well stocked kitchen. Only (and it is so minor) is that it is a bottom floor unit so you can sometimes hear footsteps above. It certainly is nothing that bothered us.
Nancy was very nice to deal with. Place was super clean and exactly as pictured. Nice, fluffy towels and she even had soaps and shampoo.

We (three friends) spent two nights here while visiting Maine and had a FANTASTIC experience. The space was clean and the location was PERFECT!! A nice corner spot near an outdoor sitting area right near the water with easy access to the parking lot, too! The location is right off the Route 1 bridge into Wiscasset and we were able to take nice walks around the little village in the morning and walked over to get a WONDERFUL lobster roll in the evening! Nancy was very easy to communicate with and I really felt like she was concerned with our comfort and making sure that we had everything we needed and enjoyed our stay!
