This is our second time staying at this property and again it didn’t disappoint!! Great location, beautiful house and it has everything you can imagine you would need! The only inconvenience would be the gravel driveway is a little steep. We encountered a bad weather and some of our vehicles had trouble getting back up it after some of the gravel washed away. But other than that it was PERFECT! The ice maker was such a help! Tom was great! Can’t wait to stay again!

This was our fifth time renting this home for our Christmas/New Year’s celebration and all of our stays at this house have been excellent!!! The owner is great to work with and does an excellent job maintaining this house and has consistently made improvements from year to year. The house has plenty of space for six adults and our seven grandchildren. The kitchen is well equipped for fixing meals at the house and Food Lion is close by which makes picking up supplies easy. The owner added a commercial icemaker which is a nice feature to have when you have a large group. The kids love the bunk room in the basement which has plenty of room for them to play in while the adults are upstairs relaxing. Our family also loves playing ping-pong during our winter get together. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stays at this home and are definitely looking forward to coming back again!!!!

My husband’s family gathers for Thanksgiving week at a destination. Our home this year was wonderful and Tom was excellent at communicating all things for us. We would definitely love to spend another week here in the future.

Great location - very clean.

In a word…TERRIFIC!!! The directions were spot on, the locationclose to a marina, the view was lovely, the home was clean and beautifully decorated and the kitchen fully stocked!! We spent most of our time on the dock, in the water , playing games (including ping pong), kayaking and tubing.

We had a wonderful time Lake Break! The house was beautiful and layout worked for our group well. One of the few properties around Norris Lake that has a gentle slope down to the water. Also enjoyed time spent at the dock!. The owner was easy to communicate with and ensured we had a great time. Would stay here again

Very clean. Loved the porch areas. Washer wasn’t working, and Tom had someone there the next morning to try and fix it. Quiet area, but very close to Powell Valley Marina.

This property was "Pristine"!!! The house was very clean and beautifully decorated. The kitchen had everything we needed for a large group. Our week came with lots of rain, but the covered dock and the covered upper and lower decks were awesome to still be able to be outside for all our meals and enjoy the outdoors. The owner Tom was very accommodating to help out my 83 yr old Mother that was with us. We greatly appreciated that. We all had a great week together and made great memories as a family.

We have a wonderfull time staying in Toms property , super clean and super well maintained , you will feel like your own home , great communication with owner, very quiet area , you will find all u need in local stores so u dont need to bring mutch stuff , firewood on site , tons of parking , screened porch .... will be back soon , Thanks

The property was great. The yard was beautiful. The lake is beautiful. We actually stayed here due to the close proximity to hiking and enjoyed numerous hikes around the area. We rented a boat for a day to check out the lake and could tell this property would be a great summer vacation spot for boating and water sports on Norris Lake. There are several marinas on the lake where you can rent boats. There is a very nice grocery store not too far away. The kitchen has everything you need. The owner of the property was extremely helpful and responsive. Overall just a wonderful experience.

Had an excellent stay. Kitchen is well stocked, made cooking for 10 easy. Living areas were comfortable and inviting to lounge and relax. Really clean. I will say the Wi-Fi was super slow (we knew that going into it) but we were happy it made us out down devices and have fun instead. AT&T reception is poor, Verizon was fine. Again, we were happy being left alone! Fire pit was fun to have and the dock was really great. Lots to explore in and around the area and the 4 kids really enjoyed that. They have 2 kayaks there that were nice to have. The owner was readily available via text (through the available Wi-Fi, I message worked totally fine).

What an awesome experience. This is exactly what a lake house is supposed to be. Clean, up to date, and well furnished we felt very at home and hated leaving. Nice quiet area of the lake, great swimming off the dock. A short boat or car ride away from anything you could need. I'm definitely coming back here again, the owner's are great people.

Lake Break provided exactly what my family needed for our vacation getaway, and Tom facilitated our visit nicely. We did experience some connectivity issues on the property (poor wifi at times), but otherwise had everything needed for our visit and much more! The home and dock are extremely well furnished, useful and comfortable. Highly recommended!

This is s beautiful house in a great location. Great dock to swim, fish, or launch your boat. Kitchen well equipped with appliances, dishes, pans, silverware, etc.. Great decks off the back. Top deck has great eating space with covering and large table. Beautiful farm and large farm table in dining area. Open floor plan. This setup works great for our family. Only negative I would say are beds are on the firm to hard side.

Good location on the lake. The air conditioning works great. Kid friendly.

This is a beautiful home and the well tended landscaping is amazing. The yard to dock Is landscaping I am speaking of, it included fire pit with seating for many. The dock was best we have seen. Large swim deck with picnic table and deck chairs. Perfect for relaxing .

Very comfortable and clean, kitchen have everything you need, beautiful view. Just have in mind if you are staying in this place, there’s no towels in this house, you have to bring your own, and they tell you after booking, but I would definitely come back to this beautiful home!🥰�

Very relaxing stay. It was the off season so it was quiet and peaceful. Great layout with updated furnishings. The fire pit was perfect with the chilly weather. I highly recommend this place.

This house exceeded our expectations. We were 2 families with a total of nine people and there was more than enough room for all of us. It was spotless upon arrival and beautifully decorated. It’s much larger than the pictures indicate. The kids had the run of the downstairs which was great for them and the adults. The kitchen is plenty big for a crowd. The 2 decks are also spacious with high quality furniture, a great Weber grill and that amazing view. The screened in porch is beautifully decorated. Everything is just so well done. The location on the lake is perfect with the huge gently sloping yard leading down to beautiful Norris Lake. So nice to have a large green space for kids to run around. The fire pit area was great for s’mores. The dock is huge with a nice covered shaded area, sturdy table and chairs. We paddled around on the provided kayaks - huge plus, fished and made use of the paddle board we brought. I have no complaints about the house and wouldn’t hesitate to rent again. The owner was easy to work with and answered any questions I had right away.

Of all my times coming to Norris Lake, this has been the best. The house is newly renovated inside and out with beautiful decor. It has plenty of room for the four families that stayed the week and was extremely comfortable. The Curti Family was very good at communicating and went above and beyond by honoring my father that passed away unexpectedly four months before our trip by planting a tree at the house in his memory. Thank you.

If you like the lake life, you’ll LOVE “Lake Break”. A BEAUTIFUL well appointed home with everything you need to relax, and make memories that will last a lifetime. The owners are just as fantastic as the property. Very responsive and attentive to ensure a relaxing stay. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
