Very impressive grand hotel that has been fully upgraded. Rooftop pool and restaurant area made it a very special visit.

the breakfast was amazing. the concierge assisted us in determining a castle to visit. and the other concierge organized a Parmesan tour for us. so nice! the young man who handled suitcases etc was so helpful and assisted my husband with parking. just very special people here. the on site restaurant was excellent as was the bar.

Breakfast was simple but nicely presented. Location was great, easy walk to sights. Parking very close by.

so many things the gentleman at the front desk is I’ll equipped to handle the job the room was terribly hot, and Parma at this time doesn’t allow a/c, so they told me to open the windows, but when you do, they immediately automatically close, so I had to put a chair in front of it to hold it open so now the window is open, but they have only a dark curtain, not a 2nd shear, so if I open the curtain you are completely exposed to people outside if undressed downstairs I ordered a latte, it came completely cold, and last, they put me in a room on the front - on Saturday morning they apparently have a farmers market which they neglected to tell me, so with the windows open, I was awakened by the noise of the market in early morning hours it is surely NOT fun as a 5 star hotel !
