The food was incredible - all super fresh and locally sourced. Rooms were clean and tidy and the staff were super helpful.

It's not hard to see why the Ship Inn wins awards. This place is excellent. My wife & I were greeted warmly the second we arrived and that friendly and professional approach was mirrored in all of the staff we met. Our room was superb, clean, bright and very well appointed. The quality of finish reflects the high standards evident throughout this hotel. Our meal in the restaurant was top drawer. The service was amazing, the restaurant itself warm and inviting. Our food, from starter through main course, desert and cheese board was some of the finest we have eaten in some time. The ingredients were all fresh, beautifully cooked and extremely well presented. Our breakfast this morning was plentiful and enjoyable The Ship Inn is very well worth a visit and despite the high quality and outstanding service is very reasonably priced and represents excellent value for money. We cannot wait to return.

Breakfast was first class. If you wanted more it was no problem. The Hotel was small but in very good condition and very clean and our room was inviting comfortable and value for money

The location may not suit many but having known the are we were satisfied that it was peaceful quiet and what we expected.

quiet hotel centrally placed within the town. staff were very polite and friendly. with bed was very comfortable and good sized too. bathroom was like new with an amazing shower.
