The location with view to Trollhättan across the canals is fantastic. Make sure you get a room facing the city. The room is nice and well equipped.

We could have used a fridge in the room, but the is the only little hickup we could find.

I loved having a walk out patio to my room. Room had everything needed. I appreciated the room having a fan. Very important without AC. View was nice. Secluded location along the canal (with a long walking path), short walk to town, which was really super. I liked that the hotel had beverages available.

I wish I could have safely kept the patio door or window open for a breeze while sleeping. I wish there was a later check out option...12pm.

The view of the city and river. It was in walking distance of the center and restaurants. The staff were entice and helpful. Breakfast was the best we’ve had on our trip.

The view is absolutely incredible, having a room with a balcony overlooking the town and the river was amazing. The room is very well designed, the staff were so helpful and lovely, and we felt very welcome.

Be aware that you’ll probably want to drive or get a taxi to the hotel, as if you’re walking from Trollhättan station, Google Maps will take you up the cliff face rather than around, which means carrying your luggage up some uneven steps with a wobbly guide rail. Air con in the room, and some cold water would have been lovely, but we loved our stay regardless!

Rooms could use a little renovating.

Breakfast was ok. Staff gave service with a smile. The view from the restaurant (and better rooms) is amazing. The building where the restaurant is is very beautiful inside and out.

The annex building with rooms is generic, nothing special. Rooms a bit worn out. There is no trafgic, but all sounds in the building’s corridors echo in the rooms. As the neighbor enters, you think someone enters your room. There is no place to pack up cosmetics in the bathroom. For one who does not eat pork thre were no meat options at breakfast and the salmon is misding (2kinds of herrings). During the first breakfast, tables were not cleaned but the staff directed us elsewhere. Many foods were finished so we had to ask and wait for cucumbers, tomatoes, scrambled eggs. The water caraffe was empty and no one filled it up - by that point I was too annoyed to ask for more.

Great location - walking distance to everything, calm area, free parking, comfy beds and good breakfast.

Bathroom facilities are not up to 4* standard, and are not comfortable enough to use.
