A nice and cosy hotel. The personal was very kind and helpfull. Nice rooms with a relatively large balconies, clean pool with a good view, good location with silence all day and a lively street down the hill.

Only thing i would change would be a more soft bed.

Receptionist very service minded and caring. She assisted in everything we asked for and was a blessing with her great English. The ambience is wonderful and the pool very relaxing.

Hotel was really nice, decor was lovely Sicilian style, swimming pool was an added bonus. Breakfast was delicious. The main positive of our stay was the staff. They were so helpful and went the extra mile to answer our queries, sorted out an extra night’s stay for us last when our flight got cancelled, and were very friendly - would recommend to anyone to stay here!

Heated Pool, comfy hammocks, nice staff, yummy breakfast, very peaceful

It was such a shame the bed was so uncomfortable because everything else was so lovely. I swear the mattresses were made of authentic volcanic rock(I’m exaggerating a pinch). We tried to cancel our fourth night after our second night attempting to sleep in the beds but the owner said no. Good thing they have wine for sale on site to help with sleep.

Our room was beautiful with a view of the sea, and a large terrace with a hammock and kitchenette. It was great to have the pool, and it was close to everything in Santa Marina. The staff were very helpful and the room was clean and comfortable.

There was quite a steep climb to the hotel from the port which was difficult with our luggage and in the heat. It would have been great if the hotel offered a shuttle service to bring guests from the port. It was really nice to have a kitchen on our terrace, unfortunately nothing in it worked, eg the fridge, cooker, etc and there was no cutlery or glasses, so we couldn’t really have dinner or a glass of wine on it.

This was the 3rd year in a row that we chose Salina and Hotel Arcangelo for our Holidays. Once again everything was simply perfect. The location just a bit uphill is quiet but conveniently located just 60 seconds away from the main street and at the same time offers an amazing panoramic view both from the room and the common areas and pool. Breakfast was simply amazing with lot of good choices and great coffe always served with a smile by Marina. Also the owner and Giuseppe at the reception were extremely kind and helpful and entertaining, tried to find for us any possible solution to arrange a visit to Stromboli or even just suggest some nice place to see or have dinner I hope we can visit again Salina also next year, for the choice or where to stay I believe we don’t have any doubt :)
